Jomtien is about a five minute taxi ride from Pattaya so you getter a better nights sleep than staying in Pattaya itself. Taxi costs about 80p to go to Pattaya and double to come back (no idea why !). As a couple we prefered Jomtien as there aren't many go-go bars. We were there when the 'red shirts' were causing trouble and it was also low season so Jomtien was a ghost town. The hotel is pretty nice, rooms are ok, getting a bit battered over time, the showers needed replacing. Our friends... (read more)
