Hi, Today, on 9th April 2013, myself and three friends from Uni went to experience a supercar around Teesside autodrome. When i purchased the the Ferrari and Arial Atom experience I expected to have a lap to familiarize myself with the car and track, this was not offered. During both experiences I was driving the car at under street legal speeds not having a feel for the car, track or experience. they don't let you put your foot down unfortunately.... profits..... After driving the car around the 30 second lap I was rushed out of the car as it was the last slot (3:45) , this further degraded the value customer service and what i had paid for. After exiting the cars feeling awkward and ripped off, I went to the photo booth looking forward to the pictures, 30 minutes later i was told "sorry but it looks like we never took pictures of you" This highlighted the level of service and attention of the staff. The manager of Driving sensation came to offer an argument instead of an apology in a bitter and rude manner stating that they couldn't do anything but to give a "certificate" which holds no value to me. Overall it was a complete rip off, I would recommend people to hire a supercar for a weekend from places such as phantom car hire or enzo car hire in Yorkshire which would be a better experience and at least last longer and be of more value for money but never to touch "driving sensation" with a barge pole. The Experience was truly shocking, even my friends who are enthusiasts said it was a complete let down. never again!!! Thanks Driving Sensation, this was a driving experience, but not the one i was looking forward to having or wanting anyone else to have. What a Shame zero value for money, utter rip off you wont enjoy guaranteed!!! i bet they change their name now

Why do I have to give them a star????? I don't want to give them a star!!!! They don't care about customer service. They cancel events and can't provide a replacement day and won't give a refund. Need I say any more. Avoid this company at all costs. Their terms and conditions are unfair. By the time new dates are available your voucher has run out costing extra money to extend... Oh what a surprise When you book all the times are 'premium slots'... Which guess what.... Cost more money!!!! Keep away. Don't bother they are rip off merchants!

I booked this a service called 'Sportscar Blast with Free Passenger Ride' for my sister and her partner. The idea being that my brother in law (to be) could drive and my sister could have the passenger ride. Sounds simple? Well, treatme.net noticed that I had written on the gift card 'To Amy & Luke' and called me tell me it was for one person only. They then put me through to an operator to arrange something different. There were no alternatives for two people so I asked for a refund. This is where it gets unbelievable. They would not give me a full refund. Despite the fact the product is misleadingly named and described and told me I would be charged a £25 cancellation fee. Now, was I not cancelling due a mistake on my part, I was calling due to the misleading way this product was sold and they wanted to charge me £25 and not process my refund for a month. When I explained this was due to a mistake with the copy of their website the customer service lady just kept repeating 'this in in our terms and conditions, you agreed to our terms and conditions'. There was no attempt to see my point of view and the approach and attitude was downright rude. I strongly suggest that you avoid this company and use one of the companies with good reviews (I see I am far from the only person to complain about the business practices of this organisation). Dreadful, misleading and rude - avoid.

Given that my driving experience was booked for me with Dunsfold Park in mind (the only remotely convenient circuit), would it not have been pertinent for them to point out that it is shut for six months of the year? And even if they hadn't, they could have been flexible extending the time period of the 'treat'. But no, it's all about the revenue, and they insist I pay to extend it. Not good. Not good at all. And the worst thing is, it puts me in a difficult position given that it's a present, and I want to go through with it for the people who gave it to me, but now really don't want to give them a penny of my money.

I am one to give a company the benefit of the doubt if they make a mistake or admit to false advertising and correct themselves by making things right. In this case the DRIVEME.NET customer service actually told me I needed to pay more money to extend my voucher when they had stated WE RUN ON SATURDAYS, and certain Sundays depending on the venue. When I called up to finally book they admitted they only ran 1 or 2 Saturdays a month. I only bought the experience for Saturdays as I live in London and would have to drive out and spend the night for a nice getaway. They in fact told me sorry we are only running one Saturday this month? and next month only 2 Saturdays. We can offer you a down grade from the Lamborghini to and Audi if you want for the same price, OR you can pay 25£ extra and extend your voucher to find a Saturday we run....which from what I could see was never going to happen. Please don't' waste your time or money on this company or TREATME.NET as the correspondence was not only rude but very unhelpful and when you spend 150£ on something you would hopefully expect better treatment!

poor customer relations, after every penny they can get

We paid £250 for the rally gold experience. Not worth the money at all. Would not use these again. Every thing seemed to be rushed. Every car I had driven had the engine management light on. One car broke down. One car that was gettting used didn't have any car tax on it run out in may 2012. There are too many cars on the roundabout at the same time. They say you can go upto speeds of 185mph, not in a million years. I also over heard one of the drivers saying the most you can do is about 106, so false advertising. I think all the cars are ready for the knackers yard.

bought a top end gift from them which I was quite excited about. Bought the gift pack and thats when it went downhill. I received a piece of card with my gift certificate printed in faded print - someone obviously needed to change the printer cartridge but couldnt be bothered. Not even remotely interested in pleasing their customer once they have taken the money. Complained about the rubbish state my gift arrived in. You have to forward the emails to customer services several times be warned. Then you get back a few words, offering nothing to resolve the situation, just that annoys you more. They need to learn that customer service doesnt stop once the customer has given them money, that is the START of the experience. AVOID AVOID AVOID

2x Pamper days purchased for me as treat & unable to use due to severe illhealth, surgery & hospitalisation. Even though explained situation, very unhelpful & would not extend the vouchers to enable me to use on recovery. Will definitely NEVER use again nor will family & friends!

You pay for the experience but when you phone to book all that are left are supposedly premium experiences that you have to pay for there and then. Con merchants do not waste your money

My girlfriend bought me a dream present to drive an Audi R8 - i was over the moon to receive the gift. I think the only issue was the location that had been chosen as they arent kitted out for providing an "experience". When we arrived we queued in a portacabin with hundreds of other people waiting to register - it was then that we realised the "track" was open to walk-ins who could book on the day, which resulted in massive waits for everything and completely removed the personal touch of the experience. Once we finally registered we were given a safety briefing on the track in another portacabin, which was useful, but in doing so, you find out you are not actually on a track - you are doing loops of an elongated roundabout!! I was devastated to find out all i would be doing in an R8 was driving hard straight, then turning right...then driving hard straight, then turning right...again and again 6 times - yawn!!...AND it was sold to my girlfriend that i would have 8 laps - lies...you get 6 laps and 2 further laps in a Lotus Elise as a passenger (woooow!?!)...have more fun raggin my car down the shops! As part of the package you are also taken off in a mini bus to have a 4x4 offroad experience...this is also a dissapointment...it lasts about 3 minutes driving a crappy range rover over some bumps and puddles and then you get back on the mini bus and endure the long wait until your name is called amongst hundreds of other participants for your "driving experience". Overall, there is just no personal feeling to the day...more like you are part of a chav theme park...waiting for your go on the next ride. I had to wait over an hour between driving the R8 and my passenger ride in the Elise - wish i had just left after the R8 bit to be honest as i would have got back to the pub quicker! My friend has done one of these events in another loaction (apologies i cant recall where) but said it was fantastic!...i thoroughly enjoyed driving an R8 as ive always eanted to, but having to do it on a big roundabout was a massive dissapointment! SO...definately buy the gift!!...just done go to Stafford!! its gash! **also!!...(sorry im rambling)...there was a guy there i got chatting to who was down to drive a lamboghini and it broke down on the day so he had to settle for an R8...then when he was called to the track the lambo was back working but he was told he couldnt have it because the bit of paper said R8 now?!? nice one! Oh - and the R8 needed its bearings changed as it rattled on the corners and acceleration which made the throaty acceleration noises obsolete!...i complained about the noise and the instructor said the bearings were gone because all the car ever does is going round in circles!!!!! -- Rant over --

Bought my husband an Aston Martin driving experience for his 50th birthday which cost me 160 pound and all I can say is that it was a total rip off!! Had to pay another 35 pound for a usb stick with filming of his drive because they wouldn't believe me that I'd already paid for it which was included in the 60 pound photo upgrade that I bought at time of purchase along with the 99 pound for the drive. It wasn't a proper track just a disused airfield and the 6 laps were too short. The instructor was very unpleasant which made my husband uneasy .If you are thinking of buying this for anyone then all I can say is don't bother its a waste of time and money!!!

Very useful was thinking of purchasing a driving experience but will look elsewhere

You are doing the right thing by looking elsewhere as in sure there are better companies out there who wont tip you off or disappoint you

Nothing about using these people was acceptable. Had to ring on 3 seperate occasions to get a booking and even then I found out that it had not been confirmed. Do yourself a favour and book direct with Driving Sensation as they provide the cars and venues, they are also professional and a pleasure to deal with.

I bought a photoshoot voucher for my bet friend for Christmas for £25. I has to call no less than 8 times to book my experience day. Once it was booked I was told I had to pay a £50 bookin fee which was not written in any terms and conditions, but was told it was fully refundable. The day arrived and I gave 2 hours to make my journey. Unfortunately we go stuck in a traffic Jane due to an accident. I called ahead to explain we would be late and was told not to worry. Upon arriving I was then told I had missed my appointment and was to pay a £250 charge, including my deposit!!! I am a student and a day that was meant I cost £25 for my mate for Christmas has ended up costin me £275 and leaving me without a student loan for the rest of the term. I called treat me to complain and was shot back down an told they were within their rights! How they can charge ten times the amount of my original voucher is completely beyond me. I feel completely taken advantage of as I was never shown any terms or conditions, and I am now skint. Thanks a lot!! The worst day of my life, not one good thing to say. USE A DIFFERENT COMPANY!!

Due to a number of circumstances I could not book my Ferrari and Audi R8 experience within the 12 month window. I called treatme.net 1 month after the expiry date, to ask if anything could be done to reactivate the voucher. I was told \"no\", so I asked for a refund, fully prepared to accept that an admin fee would be deducted, the response was that they would not be refunding any money at all. How can a company take money for a service and not provide anything in return - draw you own conclusions.....

I did the Aston Martin and Rally Experience. On arrival the check in staff were very friendly and efficent. The briefing was relevant and informative without being over the top. All of the instructors were fantastic. They were beyond helpful and very encouraging and positive. The cafe staff were brilliant and the food was good. I had a fantastic morning. I cannot thank ALL the staff enough for a well organised and great time. Well worth the money.

Booked a flying lesson for my partner, voucher arrived quickly. Gave him for his birthday & he was over the moon & excited. I tried to ring up & book experience for him to be told they are no longer doing the experience and to book something else or have a refund for less money than what I paid for the experience! Got lip and attitude from good old Natalie from Customer Service who informs me its not her fault. Found the same experience on another site so rang back for refund to be told can't have refund for 4 week as they only deal with refunds at the end of each month. Obviously less than pleased me asks to speak to a team leader or supervisor to be told there aren't any in today - try ringing tomorrow! Well what great service from Treatme.net! I dont think so! I would avoid using Treatme.Net like the plague - shoddy customer service, bad attitude, can't deliver the goods and not willing to give me a refund of my money for over 4 weeks because thats their policy!!

I work for a large organisation and know how the system of looking after your customers work. I had an alarming call from my bank when i was out of the country to advise me someone was using my card - i had notified them before i left i would using it abroad so they would not cancel it. So when someone was internet shopping with my card when i was out the country automatically alerted the bank and they were kind enough to contact me. Turns out it was an ex-partner. When i said an e-mail to treat me explaining the situation and posistion i was in. He had been buying himself lots of lovely things with my money hiding my bank statements and deleting my e-mails from my account. I explained all of this to treat me and even explained i did not care for a refund i just wanted to make sure it was not used! So the bank details that were used were mine all the details were mine BUT the voucher for his lovely experience day was in his name? It could not be cancelled. My bank can obviously refund me money the police can obviously treat this as fraud but HE can still use this voucher? Makes no sense! So thanks treatme for your kindness and understanding thanks for NOTHING!

I have been having serious problems just booking a day in with treatme they are completely shockingly poor!!
Rung once and was advised to call back on the 1st April for June dates, I did was then told to ring back on the 4th April, I did still no June dates advised to ring back end of the week, rung back on the 8th no June Dates available ring next week, rung on the 11th April no June dates asked to speak to the manager not allowed they dont speak to customers, perhaps because treatme provides them with no customer service skills what so ever. When I pushed and said I have only one free avauilable weekend and June and therefore would like to book now she asked the date and said she would ring me back, well she did one plus point to them and she could offer me a June date for 8:00AM, seeing asI live a 4hour drive from Stafford this is not very usefull for me, when I explained this and said so can I know July dates she simply replied with I dont know them you only asked for that day and asking her to find out she said she wasnt able too!
This is before I have even got to the day, I dread to think how poorly organised these will be if they can barely organise a sales team to take bookings!

Drive Me and Driving Sensation are not the same companies. A bit harsh to leave this review on Drive Me's page?
