I cannot fault the team that came to move me, I decided to do my own packing as i only have a small flat. All the boxes were delivered to me when I booked my move then the 2 guys turned up nice and early on move day and quickly emptied my flat. The guys were cheerful all through the move and spoke to politely throughout the day. Everything was arranged as i asked and my essential boxes were unpacked for me. These lads are such a cheery bunch. Even on a wet thursday when its freezing cold!! My husband and I were so stressed at the thought of this move, but Mat, Mark (Baldy!) and the others made the day actually seem fun! The price was good too- working out to within £20 of the quote. They also threw in plenty of boxes and packing materials for free, which was a nice touch, and then gave me the option of either keeping them or them coming to pick them up from the new house. Well I think the Guys at Barans were brilliant too!! After a stressfull time trying to sell our house we eventually got a moving date. We had numerous companies round to give us prices. I found Barans to be very professional and friendly. They came the day before to help finish our packing (that I was struggling with). I found them polite and friendly. Barans are brilliant, after reading the person below i fely it necessary to write on here. I move often due to business and have used numerous removal companies so feel that i know what i am talking about. From the top down the people at Barans are hard working, polite, funny and provided a great service. The lads who came to do the move were hard working and genuinely good fun to be around. they never stopped from 8.30 to 6.00 pm except for the odd cuppa that i provided!

“Didn't get as far as using them as the phone manner of...”

Didn't get as far as using them as the phone manner of the person dealing with our prospective booking was so poor that we backed out. We had asked for an all inclusive quote and when we got one that listed hourly rates and a mysterious "minimum charge" I rang to query this to be asked in a sarcastic tone "do you know how to read an invoice". If they were going to deal with our query in such an unprofessional and unfriendly manner I dread to think what they would do with our furniture. (read more)
