Just come back from a holiday to marmaris in turkey with sunshine, really pleased with everything! I was worried because I've only ever booked through Thomson before but sunshine were so much cheaper, we decided to go for it, no costs were added on either which happened when i rang some other companies! Tried to book a holiday today, but got an email back from Sunshine that flights is not available anymore... Then went to Thomson's to book a new holiday, but the transaction cannot go through because the "genius" behind sunshine placed a block on their failed transaction onto my bank account!!! We recently got back from a 7 day stay in Fanabe, Tenerife and were delighted with everything until we got to our "apartment " that is!!the long story short is that we booked a 1 bedroom apartment and paid for a 1 bedroom apartment and we were given a studio apartment :-( Usually this wouldn't have been so much of an issue, but I'd had an operation and have snored really badly ever since, which means that my partner has to regularly get... Got very excited to find some flights to Egypt on sunshine.co.uk very much cheaper than any other site. Armed with my credit card I proceeded through the booking - only to find at the very end of the process that the flight had "suddenly" increased by £200! My partner fed this back to the company who said it was due to changes in price with the flight provider (monarch in this instance) however this is not true. I found Sunshine Holidays in 2009 and have used them every year since. Sometimes just for hotels & then I book flights direct with airline. Other times I book both with sunshine. I compare prices with many other companies & it is not often that they are beaten. My husband and myself have just returned from a 1 week stay at Dream Gran Castillo Resort, Playa Blanca. This is a excellent 5 star hotel and would highly recommend it, the staff could not do enough for us. I booked with sunshine holidays with Hotel only in Sunny Beach Bulgaria from the 21st May for two weeks the cost was only £73 for two weeks Bed & Breakfast in the Royal Central Hotel which is in the direct centre of Sunny Beach. Admin is a joke. Worried about the bad reviews on the airline ssu to rhodes. They refused point blank to switch me to another airline which would have cost me £100 MORE. One line responses is all you get. I can just see them in the office a load of David Walliams the computer says no.

We booked a holiday to the Poppy apartments in Calis Turkey..... What a disgrace. They where the worst apartments I've ever stepped into. Dark, Dirty and full of uncontrolled brats. Running around till the early hours while the so called parents sat at the bar drinking. The owners where only interested in making money. We had booked for the fortnight but only stayed 2 nights then found other apartments. Don't go there. There is much nicer places close by and much cheaper too. (read more)

We recently travelled with Sunshine.co.uk and encountered problems from the outset. No transfer to meet us at the Airport and also on the return journey the transfer didn't turn up and we ended up having to pay for a taxi to the Airport. We requested a particular room at the hotel but they informed us that SUNSHINE hadn't informed them of this request. We did exactly the same when trying to book this year only our flight price went up by approximately £300. Didn't book but went on another website and got the same flight at almost the same price i.e. £6 more, what can you say it was a no brainer plus our accommodation was the same price so we did save the money.
