Bought Trekz Air headphones from Planet Gizmo via Amazon. Product developed fault after three months. Approached Gizmo for support and they liaised with supplier, sorted the return approval and I received replacement headphones within a week. So frustrated my product developed a fault (not Gizmo's fault) but very impressed by the follow up from their general manager who kept me updated virtually on a daily basis. Would use again based on this experience.

“Won't pick up the phone”

I ordered a TV bracket for a 90 inch TV, even though mine is smaller. The weigth of the TV is too much for the bracket and having looked it up online, there isn't a TV of 90 inches weighing less than 75kg. So I want to send it back. They don't answer the phone and they don't answer emails. Utterly useless!

“Overcharged”

I purchased a speaker unit from PlanetGizmo via Amazon UK to find not only did I pay the VAT from the U.K. (I am a non-resident) but I then had to pay customs tax here in my country - two lots of taxes which I should only be paying one lot of taxes. The company was initially trying to help but then decided it was too hard and wouldn't assist with the system error. In hindsight, VAT should not be applied on goods delivered abroad so they are definitely not doing things by the book and I wouldn't purchase from them again.

“Tibo plus 3”

This is the 3rd. Pair of Tibo speakers I have bought,first pair Tibo plus 2 which I took to my house in Spain, then I bought the Plus 3 which I use at home here for just about all my audio needs TV , vinyl, Bluetooth & line input from the Sky box for radio This new pair of Plus 3 will replace the Plus 2's They just give a lot more, been an audio buff for many years and I really rate these speakers. Bought the first ones from Richer Sounds but best deal I could find was from Planet Gizmo £170 paying by debit card very fast delivery,definitely brand new unopened box ( can't say the same from Richer Sounds )looked like direct from the manufacturer. My ears are very happy!! Thank you Planet Gizmo.

“Headphone purchase”

A painless way to part with lots of money! A very broad selection of headphones and a keen price on my chosen model (cheaper than the price on Amazon where Planet Gizmo is the same source?) Only part way through the process of actually receiving and checking the goods hence the reservation of deducting one star until time tells. Will have to start looking at what other HiFi equipment you cover.

“Great support, really out of the ordinary”

I'm so pleased with the support I got from this store! I ordered a pair of Fostex TH900, which were shipped out quickly but eventually got lost in the mail. Their general manager really went out of his way to help me out, with speedy replies to email pretty much at any time of the day and evening. Since we in the end could not resolve this with the shipping company, I was offered either an instant refund no question asked or a pair of TH900 MK2 instead, since the old version was now out of stock, to a highly discounted price. I chose the latter and I couldn't be more happy, as I received them less than a week after they were shipped out (to Sweden). Everything was handled promptly and very professionally, and I am actually kind of amazed by how well this was resolved. The parcel was very well packaged, matryoshka style; with the actual product box inside two other boxes with a lot of padding in between them.

“Not to buy anything from Planet Gizmo. Stayawary this...”

Warning to potential buyers – As a genuine consumer, I would share my experience I had with the planet Gizmo with the general consumers. Please read the following. Purchased (£109.95) Aftershokz Trekz Titanium Wireless Bone Conduction Headphone, Slate Grey colour. They delivered in a plastic bag. The headphone developed fault. Left side of the headphone stop working. I retuned in in secured packaging via recorded delivery and waited to hear from them. I did not heard from the until 20days. Mr salesman of this company said that they did not receive my parcel when I emailed and phoned. I tracked on the Royal mail and find the signed receipt. I emailed them as evidence. They still did not response to my email. I called them and Mr Salesman said that I send the headphone in an insecure package and the headphone is not resalable. I argued that of course it is not resalable since the headphone is faulty. I advised him that took phots before I returned the package. I send another email with the photograph of the parcel , showing including all the accessary, raping in the bubble raping and on the package I put “Fragile” label. Mr Salesman did not reply to my email. I am calling him on a daily basis but they have answering machine stating “there is no one to answer the phone” but can leave the message and someone will comeback to me or email them on info@planetgizmoSo far I no one has contacted me yet. I then thought let me read their reviews. I found one review and is very helpful. They had my money and would not replace the faulty goods as said the man in his review Warning do not use.  I totally agree with the other review. I do believe that they sales repairs products. They are absolutely dishonest organisation and as traders. I would also like to inform the potential customers not to buy anything from Planet Gizmo. Can someone advise me what next step I should take to get my full refund? I will join with the other reviewer to make his mission to make sure that as many people read our reviews as possible. If you people at planet gismo read this then I suggest you refund my £109.95. Can someone advise me what next step I should take to get my full refund.

hi, i had the same issue. Contact trading standards as they already have a file on them!! Apparently they have already been warned so anymore envidence would be appreciated to help buyers avoid sellers like these.

I purchased some Bob Marley head phones and ear phones for my sons birthday. They were delivered fine, the earphones stopped working after about a week and the head phones headstrap part came apart in the centre. I returned them to the manager and did not hear anything for a while. I phoned and spoke to a lady manager who gave me some bullsheite about moving premises. I got the goods back and resent, never heard anything again and then they stopped returning calls and emails. They are just plain dishonest traders, they had my money and would not replacxe the faulty goods. I will now make it my mission to make sure that as many people read my reviews as possible, I am a web person so should be fun. If you people at planet gismo read this then I suggest you try to make contact so you can replace the goods. If you are thinking of purchasing from them just look for someone else with good feedback, like I said the goods arrived ok, if you have any issues then thats where the problem starts, It wouldn't surprise me if they are getting cheap substandard rejects and punting them out as A Class goods

A truly outstanding experience from start to finish. I was buying a Geneva cinema sound base. The Planetgizmo team are fantastic. All questions handled very promptly and politely. “Take money but no product”

I ordered and paid for a contour +2 action cam. They took my money and I have not had email confirmation or delivery time. Tried to log in but would not recognise me. Let's see if there help desk get back to me? Or will I have to tell my bank to get my money back. Oh I usually use PayPals but thought it would be good to get the discount. Did not get any discount right rip off if you must use Planet Gizmo use Pay Pals so you can get your money back.

“My Ruark burned out and they blamed ME”

I bought a Ruark R4i music centre from Planet Gizmo. A few weeks later, playing the radio at everyday volume, the machine began to buzz loudly and smell of burning rubber then stopped working entirely. I complained to Ruark who initially tried to blame me for using the wrong power cable. I used the one supplied but they suggested I had switched it for one without a transformer and caused the problem myself. They said I should take it up with Planet Gizmo. To begin with Planet Gizmo supported me against Ruark and got them to do a repair. I lugged the unit to the post office and sent it away. It came back a few weeks later and still didn't work properly. How frustrating. I had no radio - no music. I took it up again with Planet Gizmo who said I should go back to Ruark who said I should go back to Planet Gizmo. Shame on you both. Planet Gizmo then agreed to take it up with Ruark and I sent the unit back to them. They refunded my money but I am still pleading for them to refund my postage. They say I burned it out playing too loud and was lucky to have got my refund at all!!!! This simply is not the case. I listen to classical, or radio, and at very conservative volumes. I have always taken great care of my music centres. Is it right that I should buy something in good faith, then be made to traipse to and from the post office, at my own expense, and have to argue with them about the fact that a unit i paid £569 for was faulty? I had no music for months. I wouldn't touch either Planet Gizmo or Ruark ever again. Their customer service was rubbish.

I never write reviews but I recieved such good service and quick delivery I feel like I have to give feedback for there excelent service I was worried my order wouldn't get here before Christmas as it being really busy I was always on phone mivering lol because there was a mix up with the tracking numbers and they was more than helpful even the delivery man was very friendly and carried it up three flights of strairs for me I'm over all more than satisfied I got my stuff before Christmas and would defiantly recommend i planet gizmo to a friend

Searched everywhere for the right speakers to complement my iMac. Finally settled on a pair of Ruark MR1's and looked for a deal. Nobody was offering one so I plumped for a random dealer but the card payment failed at the last hurdle (no idea why). Searched for a recommended retailer and found great reviews for Planet Gizmo. Great service and a discount for payment by Debit card. Happy days! Speakers turned up within the allotted time. Phoned once to check they were on their way (Itching to get my hands on them). Courteous and helpful. I don't usually bother reviewing purchases made on the internet (would take to long the amount my wife spends). In this instance I thought it was worth the effort. Also, Ruark MR1's are awesome! They produce a sound no speaker this small has a right to. Buy Them. Now!
