The thing is everyone can write reviews about weave but if you aren't well informed then it becomes biased. I'm a hairdresser myself and unless all your hair is plaited in like Afro-Caribbean, your hair cannot actually be drastically damaged by the weave. We hear all these stories about weave is bad for you but was it done the right way ?? BE INFORMED !!! The only way a tiny part of your hair will ever be damaged is if your stylist pulls your hair when doing the braids. That can easily be... (read more)

Some people talk absolute rubbish and do not know how to look after extensions. I have been visiting weave got style for four years and they have loads of regulars because they do actually provide the best extensions around. I am really happy with the quality and the staff.. (read more)

Today I went to Birmingham Selfridges for my "re-tie" to find when i drove the hour to get there, " "THEY HAD CLOSED IT!!! no call, no text, no email, no nothing! to let me know....!! and I had been a regular customer since they opened!!! - Good customer service..!!!!!!! its a shame really as they were majority of the time excellent extensions, the hair was good but a serious amount of staff turnover ("or thats what it felt" ), also they never could get the price right!!! when i first went... paid £300 for my hair to be weaved to find myself back in the same place a week later getting them to replace them because they were dry and horrible, even though I purchased all of their products to help me look after it. A month passed and all was well, I went to go back and get it tightened and it was fine, another £130 GONE! however the girl styled it and curled it for me, woke up the next morning and both me and my boyfriend struggled to get a hair brush through it. I agree with you my hair was shedding all over it was disgusting how it all falls out. And after a week it needed to be stitched in so i paid again and the same thing happened again. Not to mention how it used to matt up. No refund nothing. It is cheap nasty hair. At first girls think wow because it looks nice for a day or so wait until they have had it a few days or so then wash it they wont think wow then. I saw a lady in the trafford center and told her i was not happy and she could not have cared less. I would not give this company any stars it is a total rip off who uses cheap hair and cheap products and charges you for it. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME ON THIS COMPANY IF I WAS SELFRIDGES I WOULD NOT HAVE THEM IN MY STORE

I only had my hair exstensions in for 2 weeks when I noticed it was thinning and breaking, I went back to the shop and all you get is excuses, I am not the only one to notice my cousin and niece both had their hair done at the same time over£1000 we spent with them for hair hat feels synthetic it bushes up like candy floss, and look horrendous . The irks never give you managemant contact number they just fob you off, don't waste your money do your homework and make sure you get good quality... (read more)

I know a lot about weave and to contradict your statement the weave and plaits are only attached to a small portion of your hair so if your whole was thinning it is very unlikely to be the weave. The weave can only damage the hair that it is attached to if the plaits are really tight. So if it was indeed breaking on that small part of your hair it would be the stylist's fault not the actual weave.

I have tried other human hair extensions from other shops that were slightly cheaper but I had to come back to Weave Got Style as the hair is much better quality. They also style it for you and give you great advice. I am very happy it every time I visit.

I have been having hair extensions from "weave got style" since September 2010 and now I can't live without them. I absolutely love them as they give my hair length and volume. I now have the long hair I have always dreamed about. I love them and now they are part of my look!

Having tried hair extensions for years before and getting fed up of how hard and expensive they were to maintain, I gave Weave Got Style a try. I would highly recommend them to anyone. They're reasonably priced and easy to look after, comfortable and look great. The girls here are really friendly and give a fab service.

I met Dione at a charity event and chatted to her about extensions so I decided to get my hair done last Friday at Bluewater.
It's great to see someone so passionate about their job and that shone through with the amazing job she did with my hair.
It was transformed from limp shoulder length to long lushes hair and I love it!!
I bought the shampoo, conditioner, hairbrushes and serum because I thought what's the point in paying all that money to transform your hair if you won't keep it...

I had a really big scare when I bleached my hair and because I over processed it it started to break off. My hair was uneven and looked really silly. I was using clip ins for far too long and I hated the look of them as they didn't feel comfortable or secure. My nautral hair never grows it takes too long. One day I was tecommended by a friend who uses Weave Got Style to have her hair done. I'm really sorry to say but I have used Weave Got Style and it was the most horrendous hair extensions I have ever used. The customer service when you go to complain is outrageous. They are all smiles and promises when they are taking the money off you and as soon as you have one enquiry as to why the hair is getting thinner their attitude changes. I do not recommend to anyone. I've been visiting Weave Got Style for over a year now and I just can't get enough. I usually go for more volume, but
on this occasion I've decided to go really long because everyone comments on how nice my hair is. I like the confidence it gives me and the compliments I get :)

I used to use clip ins as I was afraid of using any chemicals in my hair. I used to have really thick hair but from colouring it so much they have gone thin. I went to Weave Got Style in Lakeside after I met someone who had had hair extensions done there. They were really friendly and professional, although where they actually do the hair is a bit of a public walkway so I wouldnt reccommend you go there if you're self conscious about having extensions done. I totally agree with the person below!! Weave Got Style are a blessing!!! I similarly used to feel so miserable about my hair hated how it wasn't full and long. I have tried many ways of making my hair look nice, hair clips - they were useless. Weave Got Style has totally changed my life I don't have to worry about my hair falling out like I did with clip-ins. I have litterally struggled with my hair length and thickness for years. I have horribly fine hair but then a friend of mine got married and she used Weave Got style for her hair extensions. hi i am thinking about getting the weaving done, i too saw it in selfridges bham but then the next week it had gone, a colleague there gave me the number of one of the girls thats set up hetr own business doing it, apprantly she was the best one there, have you found anyway else that has been doing them that are good? also ive only ever had bpnds, what do u think if the weaving and does it ruin your hair in anyway? thanks

They were brilliant, i had been going to weave got style since they opened and it was always brilliant, they would last me about 7-8 weeks before i had them lifted and then they would last a further 7-8weeks. I was Gutted they have gone!!
I used to have bonds a few years ago and this is so much better!! def does not ruin your hair, actually its really kind on your hair!
not cheap but brilliant quality and a few months ago they changed the make of hair and it was even better :-)
I have not found someone that does it in exactly the same way, :-((
would you mind giving me the number for that girl as i am struggling to find anyone that does it in the same way??

If you go to the GHD stand at Selfridges birmingham and you enquire about the weave they will give you the flyer for the girl that does it.
