Frankly our service from Blue Thunder has been rubbish. Another site outtage this week (following one for 48 hours recently) with no explanation, apology or communication of any kind. These guys boast "100% satisfaction guaranteed or your money back!" on their home page. We are far from satisfied and still waiting. They really don't want to know.

I am sorry you were unhappy with the service, and feel free to contact us to clear up any complaints you may have and we will address them. But please be aware that we do indeed offer a 30 day money back guarantee and we have *NEVER* turned anyone down within those 30 days and to my knowledge we have only ever had a couple of customers claim that refund.
Like any host we sometimes have outages which are out of our control, this is the nature of shared hosting that many customers do not understand. When you share a server with hundreds of other people, any of those customers sites (including yours) can cause server problems. The only way to avoid this problem is to use a dedicated VPS.

All our outages are reported and explained on our blog and twitter, we never hide anything and do our utmost to keep customers informed and explain the reasons for problems, please feel free to check our blog and you will see this for yourself.

We have *NEVER* had 48 hours of continuous downtime on our servers, what you probably mean is that we had an intermittent issue that took us 48 hours to solve. Again please note the above statement regarding shared hosting, if a customers site is causing a problem on a server, it will take a while to track through hundreds of of sites and thousands of requests to find the cause and put a stop to it.

we are really sorry about your experience, sometimes we do make mistakes and sometimes it results in unhappy customers, but we do always resolve the problems in the end. However in this case it turns out that all your problems were caused by your web designer who was trying to manage your server but did not have any of the required skills or knowledge and was constantly making mistakes or unable to follow the advise we gave. Unfortunately he was giving you a different story.
