Been with these guys for a couple of years now and have been totally happy, I have also referred several other customers too. The support is excellent and timely and they are very polite and helpful. Very rarely are there any problems, and if there are any issues they are resolved before I even have a chance to open a ticket. If you want a host that actually knows what they are talking about and where the support staff actually have some technical skills rather than being a bunch of jobsworth muppets, then look no further.

“Unbelievable - convoluted overcomplicated website...”

Quite frankly I would steer clear of this company unless you have hours to spare trying to navigated around their over complicated system. I have spent hours of emails trying to resolve issues around auto renewals which I didn't want!!, and then trying to have funds repaid to me as a result of them being taken anyway. The staff are the rudest most sarcastic individuals I have ever come across in my professional career. Their high and mighty beggars belief.

utter rubbish. I have been a customer for years and never found the staff to be rude or sarcastic, in fact the complete opposite. I also find their controls panels very easy to use.

“Great server and service”

Thanks to Blue Thunder i have finally found a host which knows how to run a server and support me running my business. I dont think im alone in not knowing much about tech even though my business is 100% online. I want to concentrate on my business and sleep at night knowing that they have my back. Great service, great value, great move to go with Blue Thunder.

“Totally reliable, expert support”

I have been hosting Virtual Servers with Blue Thunder for over 2 years and running websites for 15. The servers have achieved 100% uptime throughout this time and I would honestly say you will not find a better, more geniune group of people who actually care that my site and applications are working. If you want a company you can call, rely on and where you aren't just a number... then go with Blue Thunder

Frankly our service from Blue Thunder has been rubbish. Another site outtage this week (following one for 48 hours recently) with no explanation, apology or communication of any kind. These guys boast "100% satisfaction guaranteed or your money back!" on their home page. We are far from satisfied and still waiting. They really don't want to know.

I am sorry you were unhappy with the service, and feel free to contact us to clear up any complaints you may have and we will address them. But please be aware that we do indeed offer a 30 day money back guarantee and we have *NEVER* turned anyone down within those 30 days and to my knowledge we have only ever had a couple of customers claim that refund.
Like any host we sometimes have outages which are out of our control, this is the nature of shared hosting that many customers do not understand. When you share a server with hundreds of other people, any of those customers sites (including yours) can cause server problems. The only way to avoid this problem is to use a dedicated VPS.

All our outages are reported and explained on our blog and twitter, we never hide anything and do our utmost to keep customers informed and explain the reasons for problems, please feel free to check our blog and you will see this for yourself.

We have *NEVER* had 48 hours of continuous downtime on our servers, what you probably mean is that we had an intermittent issue that took us 48 hours to solve. Again please note the above statement regarding shared hosting, if a customers site is causing a problem on a server, it will take a while to track through hundreds of of sites and thousands of requests to find the cause and put a stop to it.

we are really sorry about your experience, sometimes we do make mistakes and sometimes it results in unhappy customers, but we do always resolve the problems in the end. However in this case it turns out that all your problems were caused by your web designer who was trying to manage your server but did not have any of the required skills or knowledge and was constantly making mistakes or unable to follow the advise we gave. Unfortunately he was giving you a different story.
