Do you rely on your phones for your business? Well if you do and you ever want to go out of business I can suggest a very quick way to bring this about - use Voip from Daisy. Our experience has been we do not know from one day to the next whether we are going to have phones that work. When we speak to Daisy they just keep "escalating" the problem to nowhere. The one thing they are clear about though is that its not their fault. AVOID AVOID AVOID. (read more)

Daisy phoned me some time ago and offered a loyalty discount for the following 24 months. A few months later, I moved telephone suppliers and they sent me a huge bill for termination fees. I requested a copy of the telephone recording and found that there was no mention of termination fees in it, let alone how much they might be. I also discovered that the loyalty discount only covered the core services and not the select services (call display etc.). Something else they also failed to... (read more)

Had Daisy ADSL since they took over the old TalkTalk/Nildram customers and what a shambles. Whenever there is an issue there is never anything on the website and you've a expensive number to call (rather than free or lo-cost) which you seem to sit on an endless "you are important" loop @ whatever cost that is to me. Unless they can prove you signed a new contract with them, then 30days notice is all you need. Find a new supplier pay to port the phones which Daisy can"t stop them doing, then refuse to pay more than the 30days. Ignore any legal demands, they have no case that is what I am doing. I had 5 phones lines with them. Imported over 1 to be safe, now they want to charge nearly 300 quid cancellation fee! They do not have any legal recourse I gave them 3 months notice for the other lines for lack of hassle but as soon as I ported over the one phone line I could not dial out on any of the other phone just receive calls. Change over is today-let's see what happens. When you have such bad service no wonder you have to offer 1 years free broadband! Read the term and conditions for that one, one in fact best get your solicitor to read it.

True however as a duty of care to customers best interests this kind of dealing is as good as criminal, I am looking at a similar issue at the moment where a business owner in the catering industry not knowing much about technical industries went on the sales guys say so and not only ended up with equipment and back up batteries and servers that they would never require but also had the leftover finance from the last rip off bundled into the next deal ! On top of that I've noticed they added spare phones incase of breakdown that weren't even delivered again why would u need spare phones ! This company is so dodgy is sickening ! This will be highlighted and dealt with through all legal and media sources people can't get away with it ! Looking at 18k for something that has been quoted to buy outright through another company for less than £4 K ! Also 9k added from old finance to new finance to gain interest again ! So if you allowed it they rent you equipment for 36 months finance for 72 months then after 36 months would do you over again for another new system and keep adding to finance ! Now tell me that's not criminal ?

We too got miss sold a phone system that we didn't need or want. Yet some how we were conned in to it. Things in the contract were hidden from us until it was too late and some elements concealed as a mobile phone contract which seemingly didn't exist. But our fault as we signed the contract so thats that apparently. Common sense would dictate that no sane person would wittingly sign up to a £7000 phone system for a 20ftsq office with one person working in it. To make it even worse the same equipment could even be purchased for about £300. I've tried every avenue to resolve this, including writing to the Daisy CEO who has yet to reply.

If it is a county court summons you can lodge an objection and ask for the case to be heard in your area court then they have to send a representative there. If it is just a fancy letter headed debt collection agency write and tell them the same. These people don't want to work for the money they rely on you not knowing the law and being frightened by a bit of legal jargon. As soon as you challenge them and say you are willing to defend your rights they back off as it is not so simple for them then. Good Luck.

As Griffin internet fantastic service. Griffin sold this part of their business to Eurotel, the service began to deteriorate. Eurotel died and Daisy took other, oh dear where do I start (we had numerous clients with them and had problems with all of them)... - Unreliable service - Bad customer support - Services that were standard in the original contract suddenly sneakily started being charged as extras without any notice or new contract being discussed. - Threatened us with legal... I was shocked when I saw all the negative reviews here I had to check I was reviewing the same company! All I can say is I have been with Daisy from the start and I have never had a problem, I use them for all my lines and broadband across three different locations. I have had to contact them a few times over the years and I always find them to be pleasent and efficient. Its hard for me to believe so many people have had a bad experieince with them I know they have gone through lots of... (read more)

Pro's - None I can think of
Con's - Ineffective technical support - you email them and they ask you to ring, you ring them and there isn't anything they really help you with. Their ADSL was slow and unreliable with DNS being a huge problem, their website lacked any decent technical info, their support couldn't tell me what smtp server to use and in fact the operative I spoke to didn't even know what an smtp server was. Long contract term, slow and unreliable ADSL, expensive compared to the...

I had signed up to a long contract (cannot remember for how many years) but later decided to give up my bed and breakfast business.
As I had been happy with Daisy, I continued my account with them at my new home on my residential number - to be billed as buisiness as I was still...

hey, my company issued phone is with your company and i have just recieved an astronomical bill for data usage, worth the equivalent of over 2 weeks salary for less than 500mb, is this possible? i see no obvious contact details online for you. if you read this fancy emailing me? i could do with knowing unauthorised data charges by your company, as this puts my in an awkward position.
thanks in advance if you take the time to message me

Hi,
Our telephone number is 0800 040 8888 or 0333 320 8888 from a mobile - option 1 for Customer Services.
Or you can email your account details and query to customer.support@daisygroupplc.com, but you'll get faster service if you call.
Hope that helps.
