Most impressed with their speed service and superb shipping. The bottles arrived safely along with an unexpected gift. Website is a pleasure to navigate. On checkout I did not sit and curse the user interface, as is often the case. Arrival Stateside was without a hitch. The stock was than fairly priced. I've used Master of Malt a few times now and everytime have had quick delivery with good packaging to prevent damage. Never had any need to contact customer services so can't speak for them. The news letter isn't too spammy either, it's regular and has interesting choices in drinks that I normally wouldn't have looked at... though the £100+ bottles are just there to wish for! If I had any complaint it would be delivery costs, at the price you pay for a bottle they could at least offer a... (read more)

Master of malt ticks all the boxes. It's vast and prestige product range means you find what you want and at prices you will not find anywhere else. Master if malt describes the item's taste and goes the exstra mile by offering small samples of a particular item so that you can try it and saves you the hassle of giving away a bottle of booze you purchased because you didn't like it there for saving you money and you won't find this service else where. I bought a bunch of samples of scotch. They sell little 3cl samples of seemingly almost everything. I had a list of about 20 types I wanted to try and ended up finding 18. It's an invaluable service to us beginners. And everything about the process was pretty great - their selection, customer service, site layout, shipping prices to the US, shipping speed (3 days),... I will be back when I have a new list of bottles I'm curious about. (read more)

I have used this company a number of times to purchase drinks for myself and presents for friends. Their online ordering system is very easy to use and their stock is extremely wide including bottles that even specialist off-licences rarely stock. They deliver goods at a sensible on-off rate regardless of the size of the order and the standard of packaging is outstanding. What else is there to say - I'd recommend this supplier to anyone (and frequently do recommend it to friends). (read more)

Excellent idea offering samples. This places master of malt that step above its competitors. It's just such a great idea. We have just finished a certain bottle and wanted to try a different bottling of the same brand. We were able to purchase a sample for a few pounds rather than potentially purchase a bottle costing a reasonable chuck of our disposable income to find it is not to our taste at the same time as ordering our usual tipple. The only think which is better than the service they are providing is the sublime alcohol they are selling. There is no other as exquisite variety of alcohols that You could possibly choose from than this one. The site was so easy to use and had a great range of choices, I found all I needed in a minute and then processed the order simply & efficiently. The delivery actually came on the Monday which I count as extremely good service, not usually associated with a great deal of on-line traders I use. I've used masterofmalt.com several times and always the ease of use, the follow-up communication and delivery has been first class. The products are excellent, the choice wide and varied, and not just confined to whiskey. Master of malt have a huge amount of whiskies to choose from, and so far I have not been unable to find any whiskies I have looked for here! One of my favourite ranges of products is their 'Drinks by the Dram' sampler bottles. These let me try many different whiskies without spending loads on whole bottles, so I can pick my favourite and buy a bottle of the stuff! And finally most of their prices are better than other retailers online. (read more)

A great, informed and informative site which has a really good range of top quailty and well chosen spirits. I buy armagnac and gin here as none of us are great whisky drinkers. The samples make a great gift and nice for a joint sampling with a friend. One little thing to be aware of- if you pay by paypal check you actually go back onto the confirmation page as I did not realsie and only the second time, did I twig why one order had not arrived! Very happy with the service I received from Masters of Malt. My order was dealt with promptly and arrived the next day as promised (I paid a couple of quid extra for next day delivery). I love this website and the products they sell. If you are a scotch lover this is the place to shop. They are the only vendor I have found that allows you to sample scotch before you commit to buying a whole bottle. Their customer service is as impressive as their product! “Postal code difficulty”

We in Ireland have no post codes yet the system insists on us giving one before it allows us to continue. It can be over ridden with a random number but there are some who would who would get stuck there. Without this glitch I would have given 5 stars. (read more)
