“Best place to stay”

★★★★★

written by Marysuewilliams on 06/05/2013

I visited Thailand with my husband last year. Staying at Thailand, Elements Boutique Resort & Spa was just an amazing experience. I think when visiting a country with so many beaches it is important that you pay a visit to spa. Our resort had its own spa. I was happy since it helped me in pampering myself. The whole experience was just awesome. The rooms were clean, facilities were good and the staff was very cooperative. I would recommend it to couples on honeymoon as they can get good value for their money. Its clean and there are so many facilities one can avail while staying here.

my fiancee and I stayed here in february 2010, after some friends suggested this place. They stayed there last year.
We stayed in a garden villa with pool. The villa was beautiful with nice hanging plants all around, which gave it a very tropical feel. The pool was a fresh water pool, which i used every day.
The restaurant had a great break fast. a-la-carte, with a big range of choice. We ate there every evening of our 10 day stay. The Thai menu was not too big, taste and the western menu was from a high level. THe service was great, although sometime slow.
The staff in general did speak very good english and was very helpful. The management was western, so, easy to communicate with. Nothing was too much for them.
The spa was nice, not overpriced and very professional. The beach was clean, nice beach bar. There were kayaks available free of use (just like bicycles) Overall this was a very good experience and we will for sure return next year.

“I was travelling with my girlfriend to Koh Samui via...”

I was travelling with my girlfriend to Koh Samui via Bangkok for a 2 week break. We did not make any reservations at all before we got there. This is something I usually never do, but my brother and a very good friend told me that you can always find accomodation one way or another. When we arrived on Samui, we spent the first 2 nights in Chaweng, which is the north of Samui and where the nightlife is buzzing. To be frank, my girlfriend and I were really fed up after 1 day, so we decided to find something far more relaxing. Bangkok had been hectic enough and we did not want feel like we were in Benidorm on holiday. On the internet we found a lovely, secluded hotel, called Elements Boutique Resort & Spa. I gave them a call and was able to get a very fair rate for what they were offering. So we decided to book for 1 week and then decide afterwards if we were going to move on. The resort is magnificent. It has its own bay and is located right by the beach. We booked ourselves into a Sea View flat, which was very nice indeed. However we saw that the bungalows were even better because they had their own private pool and also jacuzzi, but unfortunately they were fully booked during our stay. It goes to say that the service was spot on, and the restaurant was great too. Fantastic food, great white wines and not expensive at all. Of course my girlfriend was really enjoying the Spa literally every day and apparently it is one of the best on the Island. It was so peaceful and relaxing the whole time and we were very glad to have made this choice. We even got to meet the managers, Stephen and Peter, who not only showed us around personally, but they pointed out what we could do if ever we wanted to do something. My girlfriend went snorkling whilst I tried to do some fishing, because I hate swimming the sea. Other than that we only went for a single day trip to see the waterfalls and the Big Buddhas. Again the resort was everything and even more than what we had hoped for. I highly recommend it and would book directly with the hotel, so that they know what your needs are and what you like. I say this because we had a bunch of DVDs waiting for us in our room with some chilled wine when we arrived!!! In total we stayed 11 nights before we headed back to Bangkok where we stayed an additional 2 nights near Pat Pong, before heading back home.
