“Could be faster, but not the best delivery...”

I bought a custom built PC (i7 series) on 6th of September and waited till the 22nd for it to be shipped. The delivery company didn't really provide the best of service. I think they should really change their delivery service from APC Overnight to another service. The PC is in top condition and I'm really enjoying it. Despite the wait It's worth it. “My Computer based adventure”

Hi Fiona,

Thanks for your feedback on out timed delivery service however........... we don't offer a timed delivery service.

Your order was completed and ready to ship within 10 working days (as clearly estimated, and shown on your invoice, before ordering and certainly not "Up to a week late" as you have stated) when we then requested a delivery date (not time) from yourself. We even state on the request to you in large bold lettering that we do not offer a timed delivery service and any request for one cannot be fulfilled. You say we ask for a time this but that is simply not true. Our Courier, like pretty much any mainstream courier service simply does not offer such service as they have hundreds of consignments to deliver in a day and therefore have to plan a efficient route do deliver all the consignments on that date and not just yours.

Not only is this information reminded in your delivery request email but on our shipping page but also on our FAQ with no mention of a timed service.

Regarding the USB port you simply need to contact us about it and we should be able to help however the PCB that holds the ports in placed is fixed with two screws securely. They don't just fall down inside a case and it would take considerable force to do so. Whilst rare, every instance of this has been caused by a USB device has been forced into the port the wrong way round but do take the time to get in touch to see how we can help.

Ultimately I am pleased you happy with the PC but disappointed that an oversight on your behalf is incorrectly informing customers.

“Cerberus Gaming PC”

The product was everything I asked for and nicely put together, really loved the wiring job. What i did not like is the poor custmor service i received this really ruined my experience with this company. I was very dissappointed with the way delivery was handle and really feel like this could be improved. So I Spent £2600 on one of their very high end machines, From the start I had a minor issue with hard drives disconnecting (I suspected a loose connection) but overall it didn't bother me enough for me to say anything as it was a fast fix. Excellent communications and order completed well before expected... Bit disappointed that the CPU fan upgrade had not been connected as being new to pc's this caused me a days worth of hassle... Hi,

Many thanks for your feedback.

A loose CPU fan connection would have picked up on our thermal and visual tests during the PC's time in testing and inspection - It is impossible for a system to pass our rigorous tests with a disconnected CPU Fan connection.

We have had one of two instances in the past where the internal foam packaging has not been removed carefully and as a result has caused the CPU fan header to become loose or disconnected, do you think this could have been possible in your case?

You should have given us a call or email has we could have picked this up in a matter of minutes and saved you the hassle.

I however are not I.T. at all so when I had to send photos of the warranty sticker I had to apply on receipt of the tower within 48 hours....I was stumped. If you haven't activated your warranty then just send over the photo anyway, we can still activate them late. The 48 hours is in place to prompt you to do it so you don't forget. :)

Any problems just reference your email to review centre correspondence and I will be look into it personally.

“Poor aftersales”

We purchased a Cerberus- Extreme (High end gaming machine) for £1995.00 in August 2011 for my son.He loaded a minimum of software onto the machine, such as Skype, itunes and world of warcraft and nearly every time he tried to use the machine it blue screened. Hi,

Many thanks for your feedback, I am sorry to hear that we have not met your standards.

I am however slightly confused by the whole situation, the system is two years old and was sent to us for investigation a year ago - The fault was a corrupt operating system - The RAM was tested by us (in pairs and separately) and by yourself - It was fine at the time.

Now a year later its faulty and the RAM is now faulty?

Why did you not contact us if the issue persisted?

Firstly, I was told by the person who had tested the machine that you only tested the RAM in pairs and that they had not been tested individually. I never tested the RAM separately until recently as I did not want to invalidate the warranty.

No one said that the fault was the operating system, in fact I was told the machine was perfectly OK with no issues and that's why I had to pay for your engineers time and that the fault was what
was being installed on the machine by us.

I did contact your company and each time I did I was told to complete the same tests.

To be honest my son was so disillusioned with the machine, he hardly turned it on because of the continuing blue screens and when I found this out, I decided to test the RAM individually and the issue has been resolved.

He has now loaded many games and software onto the machine and he has not had one blue screen since we changed the RAM.

The contact and updates were very good and through no fault of UK Gaming Computers the ram contained a fault and had to be returned. Although they were helpful providing step by step guidance and returned new ones quickly, you can feel the BUT coming can't you. They made no offer to refund the cost of postage. This was a present for my son's 18th birthday and it arrived on time but he could not use it. A bit galling as I had paid for express delivery, again no offer a refund.
