This is the first time I've eaten at The Larder on Goosegate and I have to say it's one of the best meals I've had in ages. It's housed in the old Boots building and has floor to ceiling windows which give you a great view out onto the street. I had Mussels to start which were plump and fresh while my girlfriend had wild mushrooms on toast with a (perfectly) poached duck egg.
For mains we both opted for skirt steak (they have a special steak menu) which had bags of flavour (nicely hung)...
