Good Points: FUNNY as well as informative, sheds light on lizards' crawl into cultures worldwide, vastly entertaining with loads of colorful graphic elements.

Bad Points: Leaves you wanting more!

General comments: Jim Cherry,James Cherry, Loco for Lizards Review: Monty Python absurdist humor, a David Sedaris-like skewed perspective and a kind of mad genius for tracking down strange cultural appropriations of lizards combine to make a book that makes a perfect lazy day or airplane read. Great for kids 13 years and up as well as adult readers. Graphics include paintings by Bosch, Maynard Dixon, Ed Mell, and Anne Coe. There's also a bonus world exclusive--the first interview with a gecko ever!
