“The worst by far”

I tried to change one party of 4 to a different date. Told the cost was approx. 15% higher than the original value!!! It was only a one way change. I then asked to change it to another person - simply NO Due to my working hours I tried to deal with tis via email - NO RESPONSE. hired a car through netflights website after seeing their ad whilst looking for car hire i selected an economy class 4/5 door car and was offered a 4/5 door fiesta or similar from avis at a good price of £184.50p for 14 days so i decided to take this offer and paid with my debit card in full. approx 1 hr later i received the booking confirmation along with the hire voucher which has to be shown at the avis counter as proof of hire,i thought this is a very good service. however 24hrs later i… Read Full Review

“Online Payment chaos”

Very poor online experience. Always used this company in the past but will be reluctant in the future. Staff admitted they had problems but that was no consolation, had to resort to booking by telephone at our expense, Had to check with our bank over payment issues, other customer had the same problems. I booked a flight for 2 people to the state. When the email paperwork arrived I checked and saw that it had the wrong dates on it. When I contacted them they were closed leaving me with a sleepless night. Finally, the next morning when I got in touch they said it would be £300 to change. I told them I didn't pick the date that they told me but they wouldn't have it and started blaming Virgin for the charges. I urge anyone looking for a low cost holiday to avoid Netflights. Obviously no one books a holiday with the intention of cancelling it, but unfortunately sometimes these situations arise. went on holiday, hired car through travel agent, a well known name. they used netflights. When we arrived at destination, went to netflights stand at the airport to be told we had to pay for a full tank of petrol in advance, whether we used a full tank or not? We had paid at travel agents for the car, insurance, taxes etc. netflights we were told by car hire firm that what we had paid netflights DID NOT COUNT, they required us to pay a further £600 plus for the hire of a corsa for 1 week… Read Full Review

“Shocking customer service”

I arranged car hire through this company. I was charged £79.80 by the car hire company and I have asked netflights how this figure was arrived at. After two months of 'investigating' and numerous letters they do not know why that money was taken or what it was for! Their staff are rude and don't know anything. We had used netflights previously with no issues however we are very unhappy with our recent dealings with them. We were charged more than the original price, then asked to change our plans late in the day as the flight was full, then refused our money back. Add in some very rude staff in between and you can see the picture. I specifically booked a one way rental from Edmonton to Vancouver. No alert about additional charges for one way booking but I made sure that when doing the booking I indicated the pick up and drop off points were different. When I picked up my car in Edmontom, they then informed me there was a $500 drop off fee in Vancouver. Needless to say I was a bit shocked. That was more than the car hire. When I booked my Airfrance+KLM return flight there was no information about luggage. It didn't say no luggage, but it did not say how much either. Knowing that policies have changed recently I sent an email to double check that luggage was indeed included. Netflights told me it was: 1 pc 23kg. But when I flew there the airline told me it was not included! However, they let me get away with it because of my frequent flier card. “Will never use again”

I have booked flights to the US with Netflights and had nothing but trouble from beginning to end. First, I bought a fully flexible ticket as I wanted to be able to make changes. Called them once, on a premium rate number, been kept on hold half an hour, then they wanted to charge me £100+ admin fees for any ticket change. “Still waiting for someone to take responsibility”

Booked a round trip to Colombus Ohio business class, in May, this involved 6 flights all with British Airway code. On return 24 hour delay and down grade on one flight due to first leg being cancelled with no reason given. Neither Netflights who took my cash or BA who issued tickets, will take responsibility, 6 months down the line. “Refunds on your flights”

Trying to cancel a flight and request a refund was awful. Contacting the company is complicated for this matter and amazingly there's no easy online way to cancel a flight. I was kept waiting on hold to connect for 40 mins and then again inter-department for 145 mins (international call rates as I was cancelling from within Melbourne) and then told to email an entirely different department to cancel my flight and request refund.
