Cant really say much else, apart from - AMAZING! Food, service, rooms, concierge were all unbeatable and ive already been back several times. I took all my family here for our recent wedding anniversary, but i really cant fault anything they did. I had been to The Savoy before it's refurbishment and was keen to see what they'd done to it. It looks the same. Not a criticism, because it was superb before. Now it has just been 'polished'. It really is renovated to perfection. All of the old charm is there and some lovely new features. The bar just off the main dining room, decorated all in black with gold fittings is glorious. On Tuesday 14 December 2010 we had drinks in the American Bar at the Savoy. There was a 15 minute wait for a table but the member of staff managing the waiting guests, was polite and friendly.
When a table was free, the same member of staff escorted us to our free table. The member of staff was gracious and attentive and offered to move my seat so that I could sit next to my friend, as apposed to sitting directly opposite him.
