    Good Points: An excellent read
    Well-written
    Informative


    Bad Points: Lack of coloured photographs.


    General comments: I read Ancient Mysteries from cover to cover, and my friends teased me about it endlessly. I am a teenager, and an aspiring ancient hisotorian. I have checked out nearly every book on ancient history in my school library, and have yet to come upon a book that covers the subject so well. Unlike some other subjects from its genre, Ancient Mysteries is well-written, and it flows smoothly. It is certainly an intresting, yet fairly easy read.
    This would be an execllent book for someone who was intrested enough in the subject of history to sit down and read this, but didn't want to read the actual reading. While the details are brief in some cases, it covers the topics so well and completely, that one truely understands the books purpose.
