Having had so many frustrations with car hire, I finally found the right one for me. Straight forward fuel and pricing policy. Finally, not only in words but really No hidden extras. No pressure on pick up to buy extra insurance. Fair price. Excellent Service. I will use them whenever I will go "home" to Crete from now on ! Thank you Nelly for the good advice ! I would like to thank auto travel for the great service they provided. The car was good and the price the best I could find! I was a bi suspicious of what will expect me at the airport- that’s why I write this article to tell everybody to book at these guys! they are honest ( I forgot my mobile in the car i phone 4 and they called my wife to tell me they found it ) . I searched & searched for car hire on Crete, that didn't want a hefty deposit or excessive insurance costs and more importantly that didn't need a credit card! (we don't all have them!!) I was lucky enough to see auto travel car hire recommended on a web forum & contacted them! We spent our holidays on Crete this year. In order to discover the island we hired a car and choosed auto travel because we had read many reviews from this company at Heraklion Airport (small Nissan) and were very happy with the price which was significantly cheaper than any of their competitor. The person who expected us at the airport was very friendly and we immediately got a good holidayfeeling. they showed us many nice places to vistit for which we very gratefull. Thank you Auto Travel. For your information!! Be careful before you rent a car,because we had a very bad experience with xxx car rent. They don't tell you the price with full insurance and don't return money for deposit. We want to thank ,,autotravel'' for explanations and excellend service, especially for tips where to go and what to see. I am from Germany and I rent my holidaycar since 1989 at auto travel rent a car agency. I am absolutly satisfied with the cars the prices and the service.
