The HTC Legend is made from one continuous piece of aluminium making it extremely lightweight, yet strong. Similar in form to the HTC Hero, but smaller, the HTC Legend also features an optical trackpad which makes navigation with the Sense UI a real pleasure. Under the hood, the Legend is powered by a Qualcomm MSM 7227 600 MHz processor and runs on Android OS v2.1 (Eclair) meaning that you get the best of the web in your pocket.

I was called by Vodafone and offered an upgrade. I'd had my eye on the HTC Desire for a while. Sadly they had none in stock so I opted for its little brother, the Legend.
Glad I did now. A friend in work has the Desire and we compared. I like the compactness of the Legend over the Desire and the aluminum body feels great in the hand and feels like it will take the bumps and scraps of a mobile in and out of the pocket.
One let down would be the battery life, but thats mainly due to the fact we can't stop playing with it.
Oh, and I would recommend a tariff with unlimited internet as its very addictive, downloading apps and watching YouTube videos on the train to work. Also, I have noticed it would cost about £400 to replace if I lose it, so I am going to take out insurance.
