Good Points: About Harrap's French Grammar: I really liked it very much. I know French quite well. But the Grammar gave me all the important points about the language in a concise and precise way. I happened to read it in a library. I do not have it myself. It is costly for me. I wanted also a good French dictionary, preferably Dictionnaire Larousse. I could not get it so far. Good grammar that helps to revise and improve the French language.
Bad Points: It's purpose is to revise. It is compact. It could be even more detailed. It could provide readings from the classical authors. Thanks for such a grammar!
General comments: French Grammar (Harrap's French Study Aids S.) - It summarizes all the main points. It could be more exemplified and detailed.
I studied French in my college days. But I could read and write fluently now. I read as if it is my mother tongue.
