I am a snowbird in Florida. My hot tub is 1 1/2 year old. I used the MP3 docking station once, sounded great. Next time I used it, no power. Had the power supply checked, no power to the docking station. called Leisure edge, Jensen ( maker of the power supply) and Advance solar and spas in Fort Myers. The tell me the power supply is covered for 90 days. Why even cover it? Now they want me to pay $70 to place it myself. The music system used once and it breaks (read more)

Have had my premium leisure hot tub just on two years when my wife was changing the water and seen these blisters and two holes in them. The dealer email premium leisure about this and was told the limitations and exclusions, which made it cheaper to forget about and buy a new one. This problem with the acrylic has to be with the manufacturer and its materials or workmanship. I have read review by other people with the same problem so think twice before making up your mind on a premium... (read more)

We love the spa. Jets are powerful, spa seating is comfortable, spa looks good, it's all great EXCEPT that I'm not happy with the thermostat. For openers, the only choices you have are having it turn on twice a day for 2 hours or twice a day for 4 hours each time. I only want it to turn on once a day for 2 hours, but it doesn't give me that option. My other issue is that the thermostat does NOT work properly on the "economy" setting. On "economy", it's supposed to heat to the chosen... (read more)

I purchased the tub in Oct 2009. Here is a history of my issues. December 2009 – pump broke and all water drained from tub overnight. Had to pay for replacement part & shipping. March 2010 – First blisters appeared in acrylic April 12, 2010 – Photos sent to Meyf Bamba April 16, 2010 – Spoke to Meyf says repair is needed. Gave me number of repair person. Called Mark Supplies twice with no response. Finally spoke to someone and they gave me the name of the repair person... (read more)

UPDATE: Their offer of a resolution once I sent it to the Better Business Bureau was to offer a replacement tub for the cost of approx $584.00 prorated for 7 months plus I would have to pay $800 for shipping it from the US (they are in Florida). I called Customs to see if I would be charged duty and yes I would. So in total I would pay about $1600-1700 to get it replaced. That does not include the cost of taking down a custom built wall and shed to get the new one in....not going to happen.

Hi there,
I'm assuming you are in Canada? I only ask because my husband and I are having the exact same issue. They want us to assume approximately $2500-$3000 worth of costs (and we didn't even factor in duty) in order to get our tub replaced. We are currently in litigation with them and the only way we will get anywhere is if we team up with others who have had terrible experiences and show them that we aren't going to roll over and take it.
Let us know if you'd be interested. Also, anyone else who's had the same or similar experience, we'd love to talk to you as well.

I Agree,
I purchased my Leisure's Edge 850 - 7 Seat Spa from Blue Lagoon Spas in Crewe Cheshire. The service was fantastic and very friendly.
The Spa works great and the music system is fantastic.
Thanks,

I found this review very helpful because...It is hard to find any comments on this spa model and I just got one ordered on April 6 2011 and someone told me the pumps make the tub.

Give it some time - the speakers won't last long. Mine were great until they died after I had only had the hot tub for 6 months!! When I FINALLY got ahold of someone @ Premium Leisure they told me the "optional" equipment was only covered for 90 days. Well, they weren't 'options' when I bought them, they came with it as a package, and I had no idea the lights and sound were only covered for 90 days!!

Unbelievably good tub for the price. It looks absolutely amazing, like something out of a sci-fi film, and has all the usual extra features like LED lights and MP3 dock and sound system fitted as standard. For £6,495 I'd be amazed if anything on the market could beat ths for value for money, most 7 seaters this size are at least £7k or more. Only problem is that you can only get them in the South of England from a little place called Ricol Leisure, but if you're close enough they're well... (read more)
