“It does the job, brilliantly well!”

We started looking at water softeners as an option for the last couple of years. The water in the area where we live (Surrey) is so hard that scale deposits on anything that water touches in a matter of few days (sink, taps, shower enclosure, dishes, washing mashing). The task of keeping all this stuff clean is just daunting, especially with a toddler to look after. “psoriasis completley gone”

After suffering from psoriasis for over 45 yrs and serverley for the last 10 yrs I have had lots of hospital treatment and years of useing steroid creams. I had water softener fitted 6 months ago i have not used steriod or emollient cream for the last 3months.I would recomend a water softener to any one suffering from askin problem .I wish i discoverd it year ago. “The best thing we ever bought!”

We did wanted a water softener that regenerates when it needs to, not when the clock is set, especially as we are on a water meter! Combined with the fact that I did not really want to have to lug around a 25kg bag of salt when reloading, the TwinTec was the perfect choice. North East Water Softeners installed our Twin-Tec 3 softener in January last year (York Area). The difference in the water has been amazing. I have never enjoyed a bath so much!. The texture of the water is so much better and our appliances are so much cleaner. We should have installed one years ago. We have had the TwinTec for over 10 years and it has proved a success from day one. The simplicity and effectiveness is amazing. No electrics, just place the rock salt blocks in the container (easily accessible - just lift the lid) and you're off. But any item like this is only successful if the after sales service is reliable. Bought in 2003 and still going strong (2012). Purchased when moved into new property from Kevin Goody, Hampshire mainly to extended the life of my household appliances and the added bonus is also less clening of sinks and shower screens. I didn't believe it would fit into such a small undersink area but it did. The plumbing is neat and the installation fast. My Wife and I have had the TwinTec installed for six months or so now and we cannot speak highly enough about it or the local provider Kevin Goody. The unit is easy to refill, quiet to run and really does provide the softest water anyone could wish for. Had the twin tec softener fitted by Kevin from North East Water softeners who is a real professional. Initial site visit was so impressive with their house demo he offered. We wer pe sold after that and ordered the unit, after just a few days we could see a Massive difference to the quality of the water it felt so different. We were very undecided about getting a water softener, I have had eczema all my life and wondered if this product would help. We first looked at a single unit supplied by our local plumber. Then we had TwinTec come to test our water and demonstrate sofenered water we were impressed. This double unit works continuesly,We had it istalled in the April. I had one of these incredible little units installed soon after we moved into our new home, in a moderately hard water area, ten years ago. My brother told me about TwinTec, since he had a water softener fitted in his house in Liphook and is a complete convert to softened water. He thought his came from a firm in Havant, but that was too far away. So I googled TwinTec and up came UK Water Softeners in local Frimley. My wife had misgivings about installing a water softener but she now has done a turnabout and says she doesn't know how she managed without one. The plumber spent sometime ensuring the water softener was installed under the sink unit so we did not have to give up cupboard space. Salt usage is as predicted by Twin Tec and after sales service has probed to be quick and trouble free. “Lovely soft water”

We made one of our best decisions when we moved into a new home 13 years ago and opted for the twin cylinder, block salt, water softener from Kevin Goody. It operates without an electrical connection and is completely trouble free producing non-stop soft water. In our very hard water area of Berkshire this is a real boon. Replacement salt blocks are easily ordered and swiftly delivered. We highly recommend this water softener system. (read more)

"I couldn't believe how hard the water was here after moving to the area, the amount of products that I needed just to keep things clean, washing powder etc' that we were getting through was ridiculous, and nasty tasting tea. We had our original Kinetico water softener installed by Kevin Goody when we moved Farnham Common in March of 1999. Since that time the unit has worked quietly and efficiently hidden away in a small space under the sink. Before the TwinTec system I had 2 Culligan systems over nine years. Both these units used a lot of salt and were fairly loud when regenerating. I found them unreliable and both proved expensive to repair. Kevin installed the Twin Tec system for me 2 months ago and it really is very quiet and requires less salt. John Noakes from Thames Valley Softners gave me a clear and easily understood explanation and comparison with othes softners. Although I had other companies quote me, we wanted the best. He gave me a fair price with 4 packs of Block Salt and a hard water outlet for an outside tap to be fitted by me. The plumber, Martin Perrin came within 10 days and completed the job in 3 hours with no mess and very neat installation on a shelf. An excellant job. The softner has now been working for a month... After using Kinetico water purifiers for years and being very happy with them, my first choice for a water softener was also a Kinetico one. He was happy to come to my address, give me explanations in person and deliver goods at short notice on Sundays! at my convenience.

Very happy with the water softener - fits nicely under our utility room sink. The water feels so soft and we feel so much cleaner every time we shower! Mark did a great job with the fitting - despite us not initially knowing where the external stop cock was (we have just moved!), we managed to re-arrange the fitting date easily and he managed to even replace our internal stop cock at the same time. A great little machine which fits under the sink where it is easy to see if the machine needs re filling and if it does it is simplicity itself to refill. A great looking machine and well designed. The service side and the supply and fitting of this machine are for me a major change from other suppliers in the servicing and plumbing business. Totally agree with the comments in this review. Ed Morris was super he explained how everything would work, installed it in an insulated box outside as I didn't want to lose any cupboard space and whilst plumbing it in tidied up the pipework under the kitchen sink. There was no hard sell, the price was about what I expected and Mr Morris came across as polite and efficient so I didn't bother to ask any other plumbers round to compare. It does help to do a bit of research on the internet beforehand so you have an idea of what is available and what you are prepared to pay. The unit has only been in 10 days and we can already see significant differences, the sinks and taps look so clean and everything comes out of the dishwasher sparkling. Very pleased, we moved into a new house a couple of years ago and the scale which was rapidly building up on everything is gradually dissolving I wish we had decided to have it installed when we first moved in.

When our old watersoftener finally gave up the ghost and we cast around for a new one, one of the suppliers we contacted was Wealden Water Softeners who were able to install the TwinTec S3 within a day. The service and installation was courteous and efficient. The TwinTec S3 has performed faultlessly since its installation. The unit is of a similar size to our old one but instead of feeding it tablet salt, this one takes block salt which is much more convenient to store and so much easier... (read more)

Having had a previous model with which we were very pleased, we were unsurprised to find this new model just as efficient. We like the clear cover which gives an instant view of the salt level and we also feel it is quieter when operating.
There is nothing we can say against this model as it performs as we expected. Our previous appliance caused us no problems over approximately 9 years so we have every confidene in our new purchase.

I have had my new softener for about 4 months and it is much better than my old one. We load it with block salt which is much easier to handle than the big bags that we used to have to lug around. The sales staff were very efficient and the plumber installed it without leaving any mess at all. We would certainly recommend this product to anyone. (read more)
