I recently had my Satin Upper Stiletto Heel Peep Toe with diamante strip wedding shoes dyed black so I could wear them with everything as they were the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn! From the moment I got in touch with shoe dyeing direct by email, they were top notch, they answered all my questions, they provided a recommendation and the finished result was excellent – I am so happy with my shoes. I telephoned shoe dying direct requesting 2 pairs of satin shoes to be dyed over a holiday weekend period. They were so kind and said it would not be a problem. What a service, both pairs came back on the named delicery date and were absolutely gorgeous, pefectly matched to my fabric swatch! I am writing this review to warn others to be careful with their precious shoes. I had purchased 2 pairs of Monsoon girls shoes but they were an off white and needed them a nice bright white to match their communion dress. Did quite a lot of research online and eventually decided on shoedyeing direct. Rang quite a few times just to check it was all ok and was assured by the nice lady that it was. to reply to this complaint, we state on our forms that we do not guarantee that shoes will dye to a bright white as we do not know untill we have applied the dye, we always answer emails and telephone calls, the shoes did come lighter as we always dye one shoe first and compare, we agree that they did not go alot lighter and although shoe dyeing is undertaken at customers own risk, we try and give good customer service, so we thought that the customer was happy with a 50% refund as a gesture of goodwill from us as there was no negligence on our part, we were polite to the customer throughout and she had not addressed these comments directly to us.

I left it a bit late, as I thought, to have some shoes dyed. The advisers at Shoe Dyeing Direct were constantly in reply to my many emails - how refreshing to deal with "real people" instead of automated responses etc. I suppose it isn't cheap but for a special occasion like a wedding, when accessories are so important, it is well worth it. I have used this Company on two occasions now. The first time was for my daughters wedding shoes and the bridesmaids shoes, and the second time was for a pair of my leather shoes. Ivory bridesmaid shoes which got very muddy at my sisters wedding back in June were sent off to shoe dyeing direct a month ago. I was a little sceptical at first but when I received my shoes yesterday I couldn't believe it. No mud and now perfectly black. So pleased with the result. I have had a Hat, Bag and Shoes dyed the same colour to match an outfit I am wearing for a wedding. The results are fantastic. Judy and Jane were both very helpful, I live in Spain and would not have seen the finished result until a few days before the wedding, so once the dyeing had been completed Jane took some pictures and emailed them to me, Customer Service second to none. Can't recommend this company highly enough. This was my first experience of professional shoe dying and I was a bit anxious about the results as my shoes were quite expensive and a size 2 which were quite difficult to find in the first place. I will write as I found the service. I sent my white shoes to be dyed ivory. I used the platinum service and was phoned within the 3 days to be informed that the dye had run onto the sole. As the conversation progressed, it transpired that the shoes had been dyed black! Although mildly apologetic, it was me that sourced the identical pair and informed shoe dying direct where to purchase them. we are vey sorry that you were unhappy with the service that you received from us, we did make a mistake and promised to replace them, we stated at the time that this had never happened before in 15 years of shoe dyeing! but human error was to blame and I can assure you that the person that dyed them was very upset that this had happened, we did try and remedy the situation the same day , we tried to order them from the manufacturer initially but they had been discontinued and you kindly told us about the company that you purchesed them from and we ordered them straightaway, We are glad that you were happy eventually with the dyeing of your shoes, I am sorry that you were still charged for the platinum service and if you contact us we will try and remedy that for you.

Was very impressed by the overall service which was provided by the company. Very much an approachable company by making their phone number available for the customer to ring should they have any queries. Shoe dyeing was exceptional and would never have believed that the shoes I had died were actually cream. I even allowed enough time to go out and buy another pair just in case it was a disaster . I had my wedding shoes dyed for my daughters wedding in July 12. The dyeing was very good but I was a bit disappointed to find 2 of the diamontes are missing off of one of the shoes. If I'm honest, I was really reluctant to try shoe dyeing but it was the only way to match my bridesmaid's shoes to their dresses! I have been hunting for grey suede courts for ages and found a pair in a sale. Under the shop lighting they looked the same but when I looked at them at home under natural light one shoe had a very marked green tint. I received my size 3 Else Tropical Crush shoes today that I sent to shoedyeingdirect.co.uk for dyeing and I have to say I am extremely disappointed. Firstly, I paid for a 5 day dyeing service, they received the shoes on the 17th February and I received them back today, 27th February, a full 10 days which is double what I paid for. I totally disagree with you. I was very pleased with the service I received from shoe dyeing direct, yes there was parts on the side of the shoes that looked like they had been missed but when I spoke to a lady on the telephone she explained to me that glue under the satin does not take to the dye and this is a fault on the shoes that is not visible to the naked eye until the shoes have been dyed and I understood that. I think you may not have been happy with the service you received from shoe dyeing direct but I was VERY pleased with the service I received.

I think that just depends on if you are happy with a substandard quality of shoe; I am not. I would also like to UPDATE with MY opinion that their customer service standards are shocking, they do not listen to your complaints and they do not admit FAULT with anything instead blaming the shoe manufacturer - VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! But like I say, if you're happy dealing with a shoddy substandard company who take no pride in their work, crack on!

Sorry this is my own review and the end of it seems to be cut off! I just wanted to finish by saying that I had them dyed 'electric blue' and the colour is gorgeous. I would definitely recommend this company to other people.

Excellent, courteous service. When the two items would not be an exact match, I was teleponed and asked if I wished to proceed. So pleased I did, the items look fantstic. I am using them again. (read more)

I had a pair of shoes dyed seceral months ago for my daughters wedding later in the yearand I recently sent a handbag to be dyed in the same colour. They phoned me to suggest that I sent a shoe as well as the colour sample that I had sent, so they could get a peefect match. They also rang me to tell me that they had sent the shoe and bag back when they finished and it arrived the next day. They seemed really caring and I was very impressed that they took the time to ring me personally. (read more)
