Like the gentleman who has reviewed before me, I had an Accucard credit card, but since the card has been pulled, I've had nothing but a headache. I was paying off the balance because I could no longer afford the card, and I was paying it off via telephone banking. It was only when I tried to telephone Accucard customer service, did I realise what had happened. After much ringing around, I finally spoke to someone, who has now told me my card number had changed, and instead of an Accucard, it would now be a Lloyds TSB Platinum card. If I had not rung them and continued to make payments to my old card number, God only knows the problems it would have caused me. I was also told by Accucard's recovery team that my card would be paid off in December, but I've now been told by TSB it won't be paid off until March! It is my belief they may have reactivated the account, and they are now charging me more interest.

Lloys TSB have messed up Accucard users like myself. They closed online service on 30th June 2006 and cancelled the card without giving their new credit card!! Also, the Accucard website was closed and existing customers have no way to check ongoing transactions or make queiries!!!

The Accucard credit card website worked great, and it had a full history of all transactions since opening the account (even over a year). I was mighty happy, but when Lloyds TSB closed it to transfer my business to their platinum card, they messed it up, hence I am not going with them.

I am disappointed that the Accucard credit card has been discontinued, and I feel I no longer need this card due to the changes taking place.

A new and innovative entrance to an otherwise dull credit card market has meant that Accucard can clearly be seen as a card with a difference.

What other card allows you so much choice (choose your own rates, cashback, annual fee - if any, servicing, card design) from the very start and throughout your whole life.

As your needs change, so can your rates and other card settings. Allowing you to mould the card so that it constantly suits your needs.

The Accucard credit card can easily ...

There has never been a better time for shopping round for the best deals in credit cards. Some pay 1% after first £1000 like Halifax and Morgan Stanley. Others offer the equivalent in points which you exchange for shopping vouchers. My Points is probably the best of these, particularly this month with a times five offer.
Sony is the best of the others.
Accucard is definitely the best of all though - for the first 6 months you get 1.6% cashback.
