Mercury 4 HP 2 stroke outboard purchased Feb 2010.
Pro's:
Nice looking outboard.
Quality of build and paint seems good.
Very light.
Easy to start and operate from day 1.
Looks to be easy access for servicing.
Competitive price.
3 + 2 year warranty.
Lots of service agents around.

Con's:
Hood can be tricky to get back on.
Gear shift sticker doesn't line up with gear lever.
Plastic gear lever.
Has an annoying whistle at medium rev range (my particular motor only maybe?, check at next... (read more)
