Bought this to replace my original cable after losing sound on one side. This cable is appears high quality with gold tips and being braided appears more durable than the original. Being slightly thicker it takes some effort to install but it is a perfect fit. To my ear the sound is as good as the original. Happy to recommend

I ordered a new set of foam pads for my headphones on Saturday. The order was dispatched Monday and with me for Tuesday morning. This was a low value item but was still treated with urgency by Custom Cable. The product itself is a genuine manufacturer spare as described on the Custom Cable website and works very well.

Excellent replacement cable for the original B&W one that was far too flimsy and broke when I caught it on a door handle. This new one is made of much sturdier braided cable with good tight fitting gold plated jacks. It was easy to fit and sounds at least as good and possibly better than the original although I can't compare as I no longer have the old one. I ordered the version with the mic and remote as I find these useful and everything works as it should do and also seems pretty robust. It is not quite so easy to press the remote buttons as it is made of a harder plastic but thats a minor thing. The ordering process was easy and delivery very prompt, ordered on Friday night , arrived Tuesday morning in a jiffy bag. I have no hesitation to recommend this product.

I received my item (B&W P5 Replacement Braided Lead inc Mic) quickly after it was placed – I placed my order on the Saturday afternoon and received the item on the Tuesday. Initially I thought the cable was fairly pricy for what it was; but I have to concede that it is a very good quality item. I suppose if you have already sent stupid money on headphones, you may as well go the whole hog and get the best cable around …. Although it arrived swiftly, the goods had not been correctly picked and as a result, they had sent me the wrong item. I took a picture and emailed it to customer services and within 15 minutes, they had responded. They re-sent the correct item straight away (received the next day) and I got to keep the incorrectly sent item as a spare, with their compliments! I am a seriously happy customer and will certainly use them again. I think the mark of a company is how they deal with an error/mishap, and with that in mind I have to give Custom Cable 5 stars.
