Card simply won't activate I'm now 6 lengthy phone calls with 6 diffrent responses as to a resolve and 3 diffrent computers this week alone trying to get the card to activate. (They admit there is a fault with their system) and i just keep getting asked to call back tomorrow. They can't help out of hours over the phone which doesn't give me much hope of any potential issues being resolved whilst abroad. My girlfriend and I applied for one of ICE's US $ cards, attracted by the lack of any fees for using them abroad. When we applied, we were both advised that the system was unable to verify us. This was despite providing full Passport details and Driving license details. It turns out, their card helpline is only open Monday to Friday, 9-5. What a great way to not only get top rates on foreign currency but just so easy too. I ordered via the user friendly ICE website on the Saturday 18th May and my postman delivered my Euros today Tuesday 21st May at 10.30 am by recorded delivery - brilliant. I am extremely unhappy with the poor service and slow response in trying to rectify an error (mismatch) in my bank and application address. It has taken over a week and many phone conversations and I still have not had a satisfactory response or assistance to fix the problem. (read more)

I placed my order, sent them my money by bank transfer as requested. My wife waited in all day but they never arrived. Called to find out what had happened but they said my money didn't land in their bank. They offered no help whatsoever, we had to do all the running. 24 hours later I've now proved they had the money, but they said the amount was out by one penny, and that's what has caused the problem, but I paid what they asked for to the account they said. Changed CHF into USD. Rate usded 1CHF = USD 0.929528 instead of 1.07389 (this rates have been published by xe and similar rates by Bank of America). The lady at the exchange counter was very rude and told us if we want to change the money back we would have to pay the commission for a second time.
