I collected my new car today from Doncaster car shop. It's sat now in my driveway at home after being taken for a good hours drive by my husband, me and my 3 children as passengers. I would Recommend the Doncaster branch to both friends and family. All staff we're friendly and helpful during our visit. We had initially gone just to look round but the salesman did his job well. Okay I was sceptical, I have an aversion to car supermarkets, lots of blokes in uniform tailing you around a bit like the 'Office' you seem to meet the same people wherever you go. We were greeted at the door by a very polite member of the sales team. We knew which car we wanted to view as we had researched the web site. The car was immediately taken to the viewing area followed by a test drive. An alternative car was then offered as we had chatted about the possibility of another model. Found our ideal car online at carshop website & called up the sales team who confirmed that the car was available at the Doncaster location. We drove to Doncaster from Birmingham only to find it was not there currently & the call centre had got it wrong. We booked a test drive here, and visited the shop at midday on a Saturday. They had the car ready, and we wandered round to see if there was anything we had missed. We saw something else, that they immediately brought round and offered for us to test drive that one too. We test drove both cars, and decided on the one we hadn't booked in for. We recently bought our new ford focus from the car shop. The staff are brilliant especially our customer consultant mark he couldn't be more helpful and took us out a couple of times for test drives. They manage to get us the perfect car for us within our budget. THey literally bent over backwards. Overall i was very happy with the Carshop Doncaster, I was greeted quickly by a sales rep, asked what i was looking for, what i could afford etc and he showed me numerous cars that would suit me and were actually in my price range, not like some dealerships! once i selected my car they arranged a test drive straight away so i could see if id actually like the feel of the car and then explained the process and what they would need from me, keeping it nice and simple. i have just picked my car... Having already looked at cars in the morngin elsewhere, I went to CarShop Doncaster to look at a few I had seen online. Staff were pleasant enough for car sales people. Having decided on a car, the process of buying was quite long, but I did take the car on the same day. Although the car was clean, could have probably done with a bit more cleaning before selling. 28th May 2013. Visited Carshop Doncaster as I had been on the website and had some vehicles in mind that I wished to view. Upon entering the store I was greeted by a sales rep. Bought my second vehicle from the Car Shop at Doncaster last week. We had visited several used car showrooms, only to be treated like a piece of rubbish by car salesman who act as if they have no interest in selling you a vehicle at all. I have recently bought a Vauxhall insignia from Car Shop Doncaster and was thoroughly impressed by the friendly approuch to car sales shown by their staff. There was no pushiness as you expect from car salesmen and although we had problems with the finance side of things they all worked hard to resolve the issues we were having. Now don't get me wrong. The car I purchased from the Carshop was valeted very well and the service from Dindy was very professional so no faults there at all. I originally went in on a whim as I needed a diesel, saw one that I liked and agreed a deal, for some reason or another the deal couldn't be done that day and I was told that they would call me first thing on Monday. Rude staff, dubious methods of sale like price match, to qualify for price match the other car needs to be the same age, same mileage OR LOWER, if I found the same model elsewhere with a lower mileage I would go for it obviousely (nonsense). Spoke with one of CarShop workers on the phone prior to my visit to get a valuation on my car. I was asked, and i quote, 'will you be part exchanging your car' in which i replied 'no, just looking to sell'. So the valuation went ahead and was offered £8650. We put a deposit down on a car after getting what we thought was a good deal for us. For other reasons, the following day we decided to give back word on the deal and look elsewhere. The Car Shop Doncaster were very understanding and immediately offered to give a full refund of our deposit, the only downside was having to make a couple of phone calls chasing the cheque up which they had promised us and them not returning there calls when they promised they would. Excellent place to purchase a vehicle. easier to look for a vehicle in a well lit warm indoor area with no pushy salesman hanging around you. My experience at the Carshop was overall very positive unlike other dealer ships there was no pressure to purchase or make a decision.
