This Motorola M3588 is not a bad phone. Probably make a good first phone as it is easy to use and built to last. However for the style concious, or those that don't work out at the gym this phone might be slightly too big for you. (read more)

The M3588 from Motorola is a very underrated phone. Slightly large by today's standards, but still attractive. It does everything that is needed from a mobile phone - and does it well - without the useless gimmicks so prevalent in other phones. (read more)

I totally agree with Steve, I have recently been made redundant and need a phone just so I am contactable, I paid £35 for a pay as you go for this phone and it is perfectly adequate to the task. I'm not bothered about WAP or texting so this phone is fine for the task I want of it.

Like I said, it's a simple machine anyone will be able to use. If ya dunna believe me, ask my grandpa and my mom.
It may be a tad on the large side compared to the common models, but if you get one of those satchel thingies and stick it somewhere it won't interfere with whatever the funk you're doing, it's really all quite fine.
The biggest problem I have is that I can't find ringtones for it anywhere. The kind you get through SMS.
I'm getting sick and tired of the ringtones that came with...

This phone is silver but has same spec as M3788 and the new blue T180. It came out only on cellnet pay and go last year at £79.99. I paid £49.99 for mine which was ok at the time. Motorolas are very reliable and are good for holding onto weak signals. Lack of alarm/clock or anything else really, just a decent phone with excellent build quality and reliability. (read more)

This is a very cheap phone for infrequent use.
The new phone has a good battery, with short time to recharge.
Use is very simple, and handy.

What rubbish! This phone is a BRICK: large, heavy and extremely ugly.
<br>"It does everything that is needed from a mobile phone" - well, you can make phone calls from it. Wow. It's like comparing a skateboard to a car; they are both 4 wheeled transportation devices, but the extras on a car make it so much more useful.
<br>This phone is so garbage it doesn't even show you who a text message is from!
<br>Fortunately these awful devices are no longer in production. Sort yourself out Steve, get a new phone!
