Once the car is booked through the web site do you have to pay immediately? Also is there a drop off fee if renting from San Fransisco airport and returning to Burbank C A airport?

Is insurance included? How do I pick up at Gatwick Airport? It gives an address outside of the airport.

Insurance is normally included, but you'll need to check your booking information as to what type of insurance you elected for at the time of booking. As you can appreciate, Gatwick is massive! So car hire collection is normal to be off the airport site. There are regular buses running around the Gatwick airport, chances are you can collect one of those bus routes, that will take you to the designated car hire pickup point. You did not state what hire car company that 121Carhire have given you, so it's difficult to give you any directions???? Please check your 121CarHire voucher for hire car company and collection/drop off regulations and destinations, it normally says on these documents.

I was given a car with 100km free per day. At times if u are not doing too much traveling then this is no issue. but saying this, if you are not doing too much traveling then u would use a taxi, bus etc. the main reason for booking unlimited milage is because you want to travel the country and most attractions are far apart. At the end because it was a long duration rental the total milage was enough. for shot stays this may be an issue.

121carhire.com is a portal site that connects hirers with local car hire providers. The terms (including limited or unlimited mileage) depend on the local provider. Without knowing which local provider you're booked with, it's impossible to answer your question. See their site and scroll down to "Additional Fees" -> "Is there a limit to the number of miles I can do per day?", where it says this: "Normally unlimited mileage is included in the rental price. However in some locations they may be restrictions, please check the Rental Terms after you have selected your vehicle for more information."

I had unlimited mileage with my rentals. I hope your car hire through 121Carhire is not with FireFly as they try to extort money.

if i remember correctly it was 1500 km for 30 days which works out at 50 km or approx. 30 miles per day. it would not have been enough, and the price for additional kilometers was quite steep. sorry. can't remember how much.
