“Great Service and Specials!”

Been a customer of Quicklens for nearly two years now and cannot complain at all. My orders arrive on time, with the odd one arriving a bit late due to customs which is to be expected. I generally try time my next order with one of the regular specials that they post on their Facebook page, although I usually just order the Acuvue Oasys as they're my favourite. I am not usually one to write reviews, but found the negative reviews for Quicklens on this site after I placed my first order on 5 March. My 2 boxes of minus contact lenses arrived today (14 March) - well within the 10 day delivery time. I received a confirmation email on 6 March confirming that the items had been shipped. I ordered Acuvue Oasys lenses which are quite popular. Given the other negative experiences, I'd suggest maybe ordering smaller amounts. (read more)

DONT EVER BUY FROM THESE FRAUDSTERS. I have tried contacting them so many times about sending me the wrong lenses. They never ever respond. I've been duped of $500. Fairtrade cannot even contact them. (read more)

I purchased from this site after a recommendation from a friend. I was charged correctly and very cheap. I wear minus and it is obvious when selecting your prescription if you choose minus or plus. It will state it is out of stock from what I can gather. My lenses arrived about 10 days later as advised at checkout. Lenses work fine and are of good quality and I made a huge saving on the lenses I wear. OPSM had a 25% discount at the time and it still worked out much cheaper with the discount... (read more)

I didn't feel any kind of trouble while purchasing on this site. I got the fantastic deal and delivered within five days with registered post. There are no defects or loot. But it is true that they don't provide any phone contacts, which can be quite worrisome in the case of wrong orders or deliveries. Well I liked it. (read more)

I bought a few times from quicklens now. ORdering process is fine and I usually purchase way before my stock runs out so no fuss about the delivery time. However I do find the quality is not 100%. I usually buy 6 months supply and at least 3-4 defects have been found for each purchase. (read more)

since you r reading it, it means you did not receive anything from the quicklens.com, what i m going to say is you do not need to wait for it, they are not going to send anything to you,they stop contacting you after you make the payment.what you need to do is cancel your payment asap if you can do it.otherwise,kiss goodbye to your money and kiss goodbye to you lens... All their lenses are of minus strength.I bought $200 worth of minus and they should have been plusses. I send them back for exchange, only to be told now, that they have not received them. So it is bye bye lenses bye bye $$$$$ They should be awarded the online fraudulent award,not only for refusing to respond to any of my emails ,but also, making no efford at all to rectify this problem for more than 3 Month. Bought one year supply for both my wife and myself,only to find out that the strength of all their brand names are minus they dont have any plusses in stock.I send the whole lot back to them as requested only to be told now, we have not received them.This is 6 weeks ago.My only alternative now is to get in touch with Visa as Quick lens won,t respond to my emails .So if you want to deal with the DODGY BROTHERS pick this mob and kiss your $$$$$ GOODBYE (read more)

I ordered contacts 4 weeks ago.. and nothing.. I emailed the company, they emailed me back a few days later suggesting they have no control over customs 'hold ups'. Lucky I only purchased one box... www.eyecontacts.com.au - by far the best company, usually next day delivery and they come with a box of smarties!! :) (read more)

This company is a joke! They should change their name to Slow Lens, or more accurately, No Lens. Have waited 6 weeks now for lenses and looks like they won't be turning up. Same story as other reviews, get an email saying the item is out of stock, emails go unanswered and no phone number to contact directly. Avoid them like the plague! (read more)

This is the first time to order contact lenses online. I really thought they were Australian based but realized after I paid that they were being shipped from Singapore. My bad luck cause I've been waiting for 2 weeks since they said that they have been dispatched. I ended up going online yesterday and ordering from a company who has a warehouse in Sydney. They called me today and we dispatch them right away. Don't know where my contacts from singapore have gone since noone is anwering... (read more)

BEWARE!! If only I'd read these reviews before I placed an order and paid for it... Same thing as most of the other reviewers have said, they take your order and money then send an email to say they are out of stock. There is no way to contact them except by email which just causes more frustration because they dont reply to your complaint. Yes the lenses are cheap, but only if you recieve them. I'm pretty sure I can kiss that money goodbye. (read more)

Ordering and supply experience was satisfactory - HOWEVER THIS COMPANY CANNOT PROVIDE A AUSTRALIAN PROVIDER NUMBER for Health Insurance claims in Australia. Therefore these lenses were extremely expensive.
Their internet sight does not clearly indicate they cannot provide a receipt for health insurance purposes.
Will not be using this company again and will do my upmost to discourage other Australians from using this company.

you cant expect an Australian health fund to rebate for conatct lenses from overseas. be like having an operation in Singapore and expecting medicare to cover it.

REFUND advice
If you are reading this, it is likely you have not received what you've paid for or you've received an email stating your order may take months to arrive. Contact your bank immediately to get a refund. Quicklens ignore you once they have your money.
Things you need to know:
Quicklens are Singapore based. They do not have a provider number so you cannot claim against private health insurance.
Stored stock is limited and delivery times can be very long (months).

I have bought from Quicklens twice before - no problems.
I ordered contacts in November, it is now the end of January and I still have not received them!!! Not only that, they are not responding to any of my messages or emails!
I would NOT recommend using Quicklens - over 2 months after payment, and still no lenses or customer support - they might be the cheapest online, but they are definitely NOT reliable, and the fact that there is no phone support is frustrating when they won't reply...

I ordered my contacts on the 4th of December 2010, it is now the 5th of January and I am still waiting on them. Fast delivery, yeh right!!!
I have emailed Quicklens several times only to be told they have been dispatched. I can not find a phone number to contact them about this and I am getting increasingly frustrated!
I will certainly not be buying my contacts from them again!

I have always purchased my contacts from my local optometrist but at twice the price I thought I would give online purchase a go. I ordered my contacts online from Quicklens on 3 December 2010. The online tracker showed they were shipped on 6 December. As at 20 December they still had not arrived. great website, clear and simple instructions and professional layout.
cheap as chips contact lenses, packaged very well and arrived in about a week after they sent them.
small price to pay considering your saving literally loaaads of money on the cost of the lenses.
will be sticking with this site, other ones look dodgy and messy.
overall happy as can be.

I bought the lenses on 13 July 2010. After my payment, they wrote to me to say that my lenses are not available and may take up to 4-8 weeks! Then they wrote to me again to say that my lenses have arrived in Singapore on 27 July 2010 and will be despatched to me. However, until today (10 August 2010) I haven't received anything from them.
If I knew it would take this long, I would not have ordered from them at all!

I just moved to australia in Novembre and needed new lenses.
Found them on the web, but I wasn't sure if they were legit. They send from Singapur and they are linked to a Japanese website but I finally bought my Biomedics there. They were the cheapest around so I just gave it a try.
Took long 11 days for them to arrive but the contact lenses are equal to the one's I purchased before. I was very surprised. Besides the 11 days I got my lenses for cheap. I will buy there again.
