We had Gabriel the designer/sales person who spent a whole sunday with us designing 2 bedrooms and our study room. He was most accommodative of all our requests and preferences. He was excellent in all aspects of his job and did an excellent job of it. Taking into consideration that we are quite hard to convince, he managed to bag a contract worth 10k in a day ! Ordered kitchen in Jan 2013 but because cooker not even yet available had kitchen installed in May with a temporary oven. I ordered new Bedroom Furniture from Betta Living. This new furniture was fitted over 2 days by the fitter, who was a very polite, hard working individual. He did not even finish cups of tea I made, as he wanted to get on with the job, and only took about 5 mins for his lunch. He drove a long way, and stayed until late on the last day, to ensure the job was done. I would recommend him to anybody who was thinking of having any work of this kind done. (read more)

He arrived on time 8am and never stopped untill the job was finished at 4pm, he was polite and done a great job. Cleaned up after, even had his own door mat. We have been so disappointed with our Betta Living experience. It all started when we were given a start date, by 9.30 a.m. no workmen, so I made a phone call and was told - no, you have the wrong date it is next Monday, even though this had been confirmed by them. The workman was between 1.5 and 3 hours later than expected every day. He did work late though, but, promised 10 days max - it took 11 but left the bathroom incomplete. The salesman visited us on 13th March and he said if we agreed to the kitchen before he left it would be fitted within 3 weeks. So we agreed and kitchen was due to be fitted the first week of April. Or so we thought, as we had a phone call at the end of march saying it would not be ready until the middle of April. We have been waiting for 3 years to have our bathroom redesigned and refitted. Betta Living (Bathrooms) was great to hire. Very competent, courteous, time keeping was excellent. The fitters were fantastic, very hard working and what a surprise when they said our small bathroom would be completed within a week, not the fortnight the surveyor had suggested. Value for money was good and the finance scheme makes it even better. I would use them if i needed my kitchen refitted in the future. (read more)

We have had the bedroom fitted to accommodate as much storage space as possible. The design is good and included top boxes over the bed and bedside cabinets. The design was done to fit a 'King size bed'. However when our new bed arrived it did not fit. This was because when the design was done the designer had allowed for a King size divan bed and not taken into account any other type of King size bed. “High Pressure Salesman”

We booked an appointment for a designer to come. When he arrived I served him coffee and helped him take measurements. However when he sat down to design the kitchen I realised he was more interested in our money rather than designing a kitchen. He pressurised me in to committing even before showing us the sample cabinet he had in his car. I assume these sale people (not designers) work on commission. Unless you are happy to commit 3K to 12K within an hour of meeting them please stay... (read more)

Just had my wardrobes fitted and am very happy with the end result. From the sales, the delivery driver and the fitter all were very professional. Had to alter the original design from the sales guy who came along, the surveyor was great.He sat with me and redesigned the bedrooms all 3 of them and I was really happy with the final drawings. I have been informed that things are being resolved and I hope that my kitchen is finished soon. The previous message is a true account of my experiences and I regret to say that I am upset by this whole situation
I was promised the kitchen would be completed wothin 2-3 days and that's why I had 2 weeks from work to ensire everything was finished within that time. I have had to contact Bettaliving many times to chase up my delivery and yesterday the delivery company informed me they are delivering next week and that bettaliving had only passed on the order yesterday!!! So I was fobbed off and lied to for the past 2-3 weeks. So the doors were damaged (through no fault of mine and yet I was the one chasing it up for the past 4 weeks! since installation started. For the past 2 weeks ,I have had to take time off work incase the delivery arrived (as i was told by bettaliving- that it is dispatched). No apology or consideration for my feelings!
My payments to the loan company have already started yet no compensation for the delays and no apology.
I really sincerely went for the bettaliving experience yet did not get it!!
It's a shame, as I was really looking forward to a finished kitchen and would not have sent a negative review otherwise :(
I could have bought a kitchen (beautiful) from Stax but I opted for bettaliving for the experience.
I just wanted the bettaliving experience- is that too much to ask??

Well join the club,my partner ordered a kitchen,then changed her mind within 24 hours.they still took the deposit out of her account and although full of promises has still not returned it.In my opinion the fact that they have not returned the money could mean that they may be in some form of financial trouble but I could be wrong.

He did everything as required and always went for the best option and suggestion making sure both me and my wife were totally satisfied before doing the work. The fitter who did our bedroom, was friendly, efficient and worked hard to finish the job on time after his colleague was off sick after the first day. He had to work single handedly and still managed to finish on time and cleared up after himself on a daily basis. He did an excellent job and pointed out a flaw on one of the handles and requested a replacement which we are now waiting for. “Fitted bedroom wardrobes”

We have just had a wardrobed and dressing table fitted by Betta Living and couldn't be more happier. The fitter, Phil was really brilliant, he fitted them both in one day instead of the estimated two days. They look beautiful and are wonderful quality and great value for money. The whole experience from start to finish was very smooth and easy. We have had ours and our 2 daughters bedrooms fitted. The fitter was Jimmy Judd and he has done an amazing job. We are extremely happy with both the product and workmanship. Jimmy was extremely professional and paid attention to detail throughout. What a great job they did in turning our spare room into a guest room. A real proffessional, courteous, efficient. Completed the work within time scale in spite of having to travel each day (2) from one side of the country to the other. Left the room tidy and even filled the sugar bowl.
