After having my bike stolen the insurance company told me I had to use wheelies for a replacement. The selection to choose from is limited and a lot of makes I never heard of. Bike comes in S/M/ML or L but wheelies size guide is in CMS, so had to look on other websites to find size. Had an email for delivery on 20/6/19 by DHL so took day off work, on that morning DHL tracker said delivery that day then at 1pm DHL tracker changed delivery to 21/6/19 so wasted day

Halfords, You should be ashamed of yourselves Being part of this scandal. This company, who clearly have no regard for anything or anyone (even employees) are a company of Halfords and are one of the worst behaved company in the business of bikes. The reviews say everything, when overall 55% of your feedback is terrible you need to ask yourself why would you even consider buying anything. I’ve had firsthand experience with one of the chief clowns and sadly I was treated like a lowlife even though I was ultimately going to purchase a round of new bikes for the family. I know this experience is not exclusive to my single experience because I have spoken to others who have had the same horrible experience. I can never consider recommending a business who behave like this. At your own risk people.

My sons bike bought for his birthday was damaged/vandalised after being locked up at the side of the football pitch.. Insurance company put me in touch with Wheelies. Their service and staff attitude have been second to none and my son has had his bike replaced. Would certainly recommend them for their professionalism and service

By far the worst customer experience I have endured for years. Bought a bike from them that nearly killed me (the handlebars collapsed on a busy London road), spoke to a guy, after waiting 18 minutes, who literally couldn't care less. They sent an enormous box to collect bike, 5 days later said box is completely blocking my hallway, they have failed to respond to 4 emails advising me when they will collect it. So please have nothing to do with these people, they're absolutely Mickey Mouse. Update 6 August, still no repaired bike, apparently the part will not be available until 17 August....countless emails, surly staff, the list of negatives about this company is seemingly endless...

I ordered a bike advertised 3-5 day delivery in late March 2017 and received confirmation of a 20 April 2017 delivery. Reluctantly I accepted this and on 20th, having heard nothing rang Wheelies to be told its now the 28th. On 28th having heard nothing I rang asking about delivery to be advised not received yet. The bike was needed for a holiday and ordered 6 week in advance. Customer service is appalling with simply no communication at all. I have cancelled my order and will now go elsewhere and would advise readers of this review to do the same. A dreadful experience with Wheelies. Hopeless, quite hopeless.

Superb bike , superb service from wheelies , brilliant delivery on time and well packaged and boxed. Kept well informed by phone calls and emails about dispatch and delivery. Will highly recommend to friends and family . Thank you for a great service.

Ordered new road bike for my wife after being let down by another company. Not only did they match price, the bike arrived in 2 days along with 2 free gifts, a multi tool and a pedal spanner. I would not hesitate in using them again. The staff who I spoke with were knowledgable courteous and friendly.

Ordered a bike that showed in stock and stated dispatched within 2-5 days. Did not hear a thing so on the fifth day I contacted them only to be told the bike I ordered was not even in the country and would not be delivered for another six weeks!! I have a charity ride to complete in a couple of weeks so have now got to source another bike quickly. I stated this to the sales manager and he said they could possibly look at a replacement. I asked if they could supply another model for the same price and they declined eventhough I told them that I had actually found the replacement bike £50 cheaper than the original bike I ordered elsewhere. In the end I have had to cancel my £3000 order and take my money elsewhere. They state they pride themselves on the service that they provide their customers, I very much disagree.

Terrible customer service, had issues with a bike, it was not the same as I asked for when I purchased in over the phone, when I tried to get a refund it was a nightmare dealing with them, I was even disconnected mid way in explaining to them my dispute. I would avoid buying a bike from this company.

My bike was insured through my home contents insurance and I was forced to deal with Wheelies when it was stolen. Unfortunately my bike was worth around £700 but only insured up to the value of £350, so naturally I wanted a cash settlement to put towards a second hand bike of a similar quality. When I told Wheelies this they gave me the run around, telling me I needed to call my insurer and let them know, even though I already had. My insurer then told me they were waiting for validation of the claim from Wheelies in order to process my cash settlement. Two days later I had another call from Wheelies asking me if I'd decided what I'd like to do (!). I repeated that I was waiting for a cash settlement. They then told me that they were going to take 15% of my cash settlement because I wasn't getting a replacement bike through them!! Obviously I wasn't getting a replacement bike through them because they couldn't offer me a direct replacement – why should I be penalised for this? They told me they'd speak to my insurer and call me back, but they never did. I then called my insurer myself and they confirmed that the 15% should NOT have been taken from my cash settlement. Wheelies said it was 'a mistake' but I'm sure they were trying to take me for a ride. They are a bunch of rip off merchants and I'm disappointed that my otherwise reliable insurer have forced me to be involved with them.

I'm on their mailing list after purchasing an item from them, and whenever they send an offer through I go and check it against other websites. Basically they are just a rip off, at least 30% more expensive than anywhere else on almost everything, even with the discount they offer.

Basically bike was damaged on arrival. After numerous calls and emails I received the the part for the bike however turns out this wasn't the correct part and then this went on for a further 2 parts. After speaking to a 'team leader' I was given compensation (£50) to spend at wheelies. I decided enough is enough and I wanted to return the product as the customer service I received was absolutely shocking. The 'team leader' suggested that to return the bike it needed to be in a box which was fine however I had to retrieve one from my local bike shop who unfortunately didn't have one but for a discounted price wheelies could provide one for £15 and that she could take it out of my compensation. Needless to say after speaking to this woman for 1 hour I got the box sent out for free as why should I have to pay for a box to return something which wasn't actually fit for purpose when delivered. Absolutely disgusting customer service and the most patronising woman (team leader) I have ever spoken to. The bike itself would would of been great it was the specialised rockhopper sport however we will take our customer elsewhere.

My insurrance put me on to this lot after crashing my bike. I was told I could have cash - 20% or use them. I tried them, as I didn't live far away I asked them if could take the bike in and speed things up. They didn't bother to return any calls and emails. They never looked at the bike and kept telling me was being looked at, I took the cash sum which was less than should have got. Then I asked for the bike back as was meant to use some the bits but they said no and I have heard from other people they will remove the parts and keep for themsleves. If offered go stright to cash and avoid this lot. The reviews on this site say it all!

Oh dear...Well so far it scores the lowest service I have ever received in my life!!!Bycycle got stolen so insurance company passed details to wheelies to get a replacement bicycle- was great till...i received replacement bike,which was completely different model also with NO pedals and no LIGHTS- I rang them back - took 3 days to scan the bike,which i returned so they can send me mine- staff so rude no hello no apology...words cannot describe how i felt- till they get your money they are nice and after that no one cares- VOID THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!! i found 2 out of 10 people,where nice...what a disaster!!!!!!Wanted to scream and cry and laugh ...they ticked all the worst nightmare ticks......

I wished to return faulty goods. They offered a free return via Collect Plus, where I have to take my goods to a Collect Plus point - the nearest is 8 miles away from my home. The goods were shipped to my home so I requested a home collection, especially since I am at home in bed with pneumonia. Under clause 3.60 of DSRs, I am only required to make the goods available for collection. They insist I must use the Collect Plus service if I want to make a return - thus depriving me of my funds for an indeterminate period until such time as I am well enough to do so - which is likely to be some weeks. They have been nothing but trouble - it has taken weeks to receive goods in the first place which they claimed were in stock on the web site. Utterly appalling service, and I shall never use them in the future. I shall be taking this up with Trading Standards.

Payment was taken from card and told item was dispatched. Then told item would be delayed... then told item was out of stock and manufacturer could not supply. Was aksed to look at other suitable items on website, had no confidence items advertised can be supplied so asked for a full refund. all this took around a week. First and last time I use Wheelies.

Bike needed servicing. Took it to wheelies....problem not fixed but still charged. Took it to another shop....problem fixed and for less £££ Went back to Wheelies to get my money back...They treated me like I was an idiot (OK, i dont know much about bikes....but I do know about customer service and retail) and refused me a refund for their poor work. The manager was really unfriendly and seemed intent on making sure I never came back and told everyone how bad they were... baffled. Avoid...there are plenty of other good bike stores in Swansea that are better value for money and, that wont look down at you for not being an expert.

Also parently they said- i have called to change my bike choise-no comment- dont waste time to deal with them
