Port forwarding is a nightmare, the wireless is unstable and will die repeatedly, the DNS (IE the part that turns google.com into an IP address and allows you to view the web) dies repeatedly meaning no connection at all. The interface is clunky and slow, anything you change or do takes forever to take effect. Do not ever buy this router, in fact steer clear of Belkin products altogether, go for HP, Cisco, D-Link, literally any other manufacturer!… Read Full Review

For day to day things, this router is fine. However, for using anything like SIP (voice chat) it's useless, it's completely overzealous in its blocking and it's impossible to disable the firewall to let it allow it (I've tried DMZ, disabling the entire firewall and port forwarding). Also, it won't let me set a password to protect it (will only stay at the default blank password). I've had a Belkin router in the past, and it was great, wouldn't buy one again after this.
Advanced users should… Read Full Review

Basically how easy it is to set up is irrelevent as it didn't work. It did not connect to the phone line so didn't even get that far. I swapped it for another router that worked straight away, so it wasn't my phone line or isp. Too expensive and doesn't work… Read Full Review

I bought this as a modem/router after ISP (Singnet) upgraded their line to ADSL2+. Although the box says ADSL2+ works, it won't handshake with the ADSL2+ signal. Forget this if you are a Singnet customer, I went back to an older linksys modem which can be configured to only connect using ADSL2+ (works first time every time). The Belkin does not give the user the option to force ADSL2+ connect. DONT BUY THIS.!… Read Full Review

Don't get this!
It has a lot of settings and options which are easy enough to set up, however most don't perform as they should, are missing a few vital bits that I need, or are simpley bugged and don't work at all. For the price I expect none (or maybe just one!) of these problems.
E.g. It has the option to set up port forwarding, but actually entering anything in doesn't work and pops up errors, or simpley changes what you put in to something else(I have set up multiple highly secure… Read Full Review

The previous reviewer is absolutely right.I have had a very poor experience with this device. The set up CD is a waste of good plastic and the router will just not connect to the phone line.It has been sent back and I endorse the previous remarks, AVOID!!!… Read Full Review

This router looks great on paper. Bought to replace D-link router which died. Never had ANY connection problem on ADSL line before purchasing this router. Initially wouldn't install despite repeatedly following the instructions to the letter! Eventually got it configured but then kept trying to synchronise with the ADSL and dropping the connection randomly and without warning. Irony is, the free router sent out by my ISP when trying to diagnose the "line problem" diagnosed by Belkin… Read Full Review
