Listening to Paramore's third full-length album Brand New Eyes was like sitting on a wobbly chair- it was very hard to ease into and it needed a few screws tightened.
After the release of their sophomore album Riot, which triggered their mainstream success, any other pop-punk band that had a girl singer (Hey Monday for example) was just another generic rip-off of Paramore's aesthetic.
