Son overseas so hamper was Christmas and get well present as husband and I had cancer operations prior to Christmas. Videocall arranged to share the moment of opening his gift! It was so upsetting! I complained, was offered a £7 refund for extra postage!I declined was offered £20 voucher!!! Checked web and there wasn't anything worth having as postage is required! Fortnum and Mason broke their contract with the customer!! It is not quite the same eating Christmas luxuries after the event!!! I have contacted them several times each time a different adviser. It's end March and still not resolved!!!

I have used ihampers and iflorists many times in the past and they have been fine. This Christmas I chose a hamper to send to my parents in England (I'm in Australia) I did notice I could no longer pay in Australian dollars which I had always done before. I chose a small hamper with a 20% discount and the price was 20.72, I entered my delivery and payment details with the price still showing 20.72. When I checked the confirmation email the price was 31.08 with the note (incl fees). So 50% fees with no mention of what it was for. I emailed them and their reply said if I ordered that particular hamper I would pay 25 pounds which didn't match either amount and was just a generic reply as if I had asked a different question. Too late for me but please watch out for the fees, if it is 50% on my order its not too bad but on their more expensive hampers it could be a problem. Regards Bev Morris

I ordered a Christmas hamper for a present it arrived damaged the tray was broken so I phoned I Hampers they told me to send a photo which I did and as it was a week before Christmas I knew that I would not get a replacement but it had been damaged in transit so after Christmas I sent three e-mails to I hampers but had no reply customer service zero.

The hamper arrived on time which was good but when I emailed asking them when and if it had been delivered I got no reply, twice. So as not to ruin the surprise I got someone to ask my sister if she had received a hamper a week later - she replied - 'Yes but there was so gift message or name of company, no way I could find out where it cam from' Very disappointing.

I purchased a hamper to be delivered yesterday by paying for the service, the hamper did not turn up. I called today to see what was happening and why it had not arrived. The man advised that the courier company where behind with the deliveries but couldn't see any information on the tracking information system. I asked then that the refund take place for the money paid for the guaranteed delivery I had paid. He said when the hamper does arrive then they will action a refund. I asked if I could have email confirmation of this - usually when you call back and speak to someone else they never know anything about this. He then decided to open a support ticket for me that doesn't tell me anything. I would like to know when the hamper will arrive as I had paid for and also why this company really doesn't seem to care about customer service. Unfortunately I did not read the reviews on this company otherwise I would not have made a purchase with them and would have chosen someone with a good reputation. I did enquire as to which depot the item was at and apparently the tracking system does not give that information. I also asked if I could be emailed or given the tracking details so I could check my self and was advised this was not possible as it is all on their own in house software system. Apparently they are using DPD so they will have a reference that I can check with on their own website. I am very doubtful that I will receive what I have ordered or that it will be easy to obtain a refund from this company. When you pay for an express delivery service you expect to receive it and if this is not going to take place then the customers should be notified. I find the service extremely shocking and maybe they just take the orders and never deliver to anyone. Being fobbed off with it is with the courier but we do not know where is not really good enough and nor is a ticket system that I presume will take along time for anyone to decide to respond to me. I would say the bad service is one of the reasons you cannot post on the facebook page aswell.

I ordered 3 hampers to go to 3 different addresses on the 21/12/12 and all 3 were delivered on the 16/12/12 !!! a whole 1 week early than requested and the were not the high quality that i expected. Don't expect the website to keep you informed of your delivery either as my order status have only just been updated to delivered from other???? whatever that means, i guess i am lucky that they have arrived at their destination in time for Christmas but as they were presents i am a little disappointed at the delivery day.

Ordered a hamper and picked my date of delivery. On the day of delivery I checked with their online support and was assured despite their status saying "accepted" it was definitively out for delivery. The next day the item was still not delivered. This was to be a surprise gift for that day so it was not pointless to have it delivered late. Again with online support the had no clue why I wasn't notified it was not delivered and refused an immediate refund. The delivery had not gone out (simply been scheduled) but the only way to get a refund was to ask the recipient to refuse it. I can live with small mix ups every now and then but the lack of help when it did go wrong means I will not use them again.

This company helped me out at short notice with our corporate hampers during Christmas 2011. However, the customer service side of the business for items not delivered and requiring a refund is more than a little disappointing. I have been waiting 7 months for a refund of £57 which they tell me takes longer to process because it's over one month old. Despite the fact I received an email from them in January stating it would be refunded in the next few days. They've now stopped replying to my requests for an update and have told me to contact the bank to try and sort it myself. Unfortunately this is not possible as it wasn't ordered on my card. Overall, the service was generally good - but the attitude of their customer services team have made me determined to never use them again - for the sake of £57! They've lost out on a lot of money for orders this year - that's for sure!

wow, the same thing has happened to me. They obviously think that by ignoring our emails, that they will get out of paying the refund. The worst thing is after I first posted on this site, they again promised to refund me and kept putting it off and off and now they've stopped answering my emails. They owe me over 600 GBP. I really really advise anyone to not use this site, any site that refuses to refund money you are entitled to is a CON.
