Putting on : Overall, a 9/10 because it only failed me once when one of my contact lenses went up high onto my eye and it STUNG ending up it got ripped. Ouch. Getting out : 10/10 It is easy to get them off, just pinch them although once when I did that it ripped so I had to get a new pair. I live in the Netherlands, and Getlenses has a .nl site. They use the .nl site to send contacts without a prescription to the UK, so many of you will have to use it. They make it impossibly hard to use. You cannot complete orders, you cannot enter your power. If I use the english site then it charges me in pounds and charges me shipping, so they advised I just use the site in dutch to figure out my order. reasonably priced lenses. very quick delivery. great customer service. the website is very easy to use too. every thing is laid out perfectly for you to find specific items quickly. they did once miss off part of my address so my lenses were sent back to them, but they immediately amended the address and sent back next day (on a saturday) with a small gift. :) there isnt anything i can think of that i don't like about this supplier. always a pleasure! will always use them. I recently ordered lenses online for the first time with getlenses and I've discovered hot much easier it is than calling to a store. Their website is user website, lenses are good value and they arrived in warp speed without postal charges. I've been purchasing daily lenses from the net for the last 3 years or so. This has saved me a lot of money than getting them at my opticians. Their service is quick and responsive and when i've telephoned them have found them friendly. I will continue to purchase my lenses from Get Lenses due to the cost savings yet also because they are a reliable company. They didn't have the brand I used from my optician, but I found some that were similar - and they were MUCH cheaper than buying from my optician and arrived within a week or so. I have used Get Lenses for many, many years. I live abroad and have always been pleased generally with their service and prices, HOWEVER, I have just placed a repeat order and the postage has gone up from SEVEN pounds to nearly SIXTY pounds. Hi Julies, as the ecommerce marketing manager for GetLenses I quite agree that it is a huge increase. However, we were finding more of our orders were going missing than were being delivered and as a company we agreed to swap to parcelforce who guarantee delivery. Logistics have come a long way in the last year or so and we are now looking at cheaper options and hope to have this resolved within the next month or so.

Great service, and the cheapest lenses I can find on the net, even if you can find them cheaper they will 'price match'. I live between England and France so is great that they post abroad for reasonable-ish postage charge. I ordered some lenses from this company, forgetting my optician appointment, my prescription changed. They state on their website if this happens as long as you return the boxes unopened to them you can get a refund. I've returned my lenses to them, I have the proof and a signature that they signed for it. Can I get my money back.. NO CHANCE. I would not touch the company with a very long pole.. I ordered coloured lenses. I had to wait a very long time for my lenses because they were "awaiting stock" for about a week. When they eventually arrived I found out that the info on their website is wrong causing me to order the wrong ones! I then had to pay to return them and after they received them (I returned using signed for service so I know when they got them back) they took nearly another week to create a new order for the replacement lenses. I ordered 3 coloured lenses on a friday. They told me that i should opt for special next day delivery. I agreed and paid six pounds on top of the 35 pound charge which was good value. I was surprised how fast i got my delivery (about 10 days from ordering, and i ordered on saturday). Well the boxes of lenses are a bit diferent than i was used to (specificaly - color), but i checked every other detail and i can tell that all the other looks the same. I'm not sure for the quality, because I haven't start to wear those lenses yet.
Overall i'm very pleased for the prise and realy fast delivery.

I have tried a number of online contact lens sites. I like the fact that some don't seem to care about prescriptions. I've always thought that I was in charge of my eyes and not some 23 year old trainee optician (why don't you ever get the experienced guys?). So I'm pretty comfortable with ordering my lenses online - it's not as if someone is hand carving them for you - they're a commodity after all.

Excellent shop. I've used a few online shops for my lenses. In some cases there wasn't a significant enough saving. In others, I didn't feel they really checked my order too closely or had the product in stock as claimed.

I ordered lenses from them. First of all 4 payments were taken instead of one. I received an email telling me they had been dispatched and then I waited 3 weeks for my lenses. I have used www.getlenses.com a number of times. On the first occasion, I gave up because I have a very awkward prescription. They called up to see if they could help and subsequently organized the right lenses. Great prices (huge saving vs my optician) - also cheaper than others listed here, as I've subsequently discovered.

I just went to GetLenses and they have now switched to getlenses.co.uk rather than .com. The new site is a huge improvement imho - loads more contact lens information, lots of own brand comparison tables etc.
