I sent them two of my phone blackberry and Nokia nearly two months ago .... Always it show the payment in pending... I send them several times emails, no response, they are a rubbish company taking advantage of honest people pls don't use this company cos u will never get a penny....  They take a pi.. they missing round with wrong person,,,, I will pop in there wherhouse is person ?, has anyone want to come.... This site should be burn...

This company does not seem to be legit! They took my phone and did not send me the cheque. They have not replied to any of my emails and I have sent many. Do not use them! There are many many more people in this situation. Their ex-staff have been confirming that this is standard practice for them (to take the phone and not pay!).

Well, my good lady wife made the mistake of not researching this company and sending her old Blackberry to these sharks. So guess what? Like a lot of other previous posters, they've got the phone, had it for some time actually, as we know they signed for it. But have we heard nothing, their customer service number is just on a constant loop of recorded message that you know is never get answered and they have not responded to the online messages that have been sent. So, my advice is to avoid these guys like the plague, some interesting information reference being struck off by the London Gazette and activity regarding companies house etc. But don't worry, I don't have any intention of giving up, just so you know Cash4Phones, we've been onto Trading Standards, Watchdog and I intend visiting your company address soon. You will be giving my wife her phone back!

Sent my phone in, well wrapped as they asked. Phone was then 'assessed' and a new offer made for £53 from the initial £132. I accepted this as i didn't want the hassle of the return, which I'm sure is what they were counting on. Payment should have been made end of September and guess what... Like everyone else i am still waiting! I've had two replies to my emails both saying the same rubbish about transfer issues and that the money will be paid 'shortly'. Haven't been able to get through on the phone... Ridiculous. I bet they're selling the phones on for full price to other websites and pocketing all the cash. like everyone else i will be registering this with trading standards, watchdog etc they need to be put out of business

This is a disgrace, more than a month and no payment yet, after numerous e-mails, they keep saying payment would be in my account next week??? They are a bunch of mugsters period, after reading some of the comments and going through the same situation, i can only say that i will be in touch with the company standars, consumer rights and all the regulating companies that i will find out there, this company should be investigated as they are fraudulent and misleading, all this wear and tear malaki, when phones are immaculate is not on, i wish that eventually this company is closed down with heavy fines, stop mugging people!!! They mention below rating for value for money(what money???) havent recieved anthything yet and they offered a outrageous amount for a immaculate phone???

I sent my iphone 4 off to this company 3rd September. They promised me £132 for it. I sent it off in the envelope, fully protected from any breakages..i also sent it special delivery sign for at a cost of &6.95 to ensure they received it safely and promptly. I finally heard from them via email about a week later...I knew they'd got the phone the next day after I sent it...so it took them some time to test it and get back to me. They offered me a measly £40 for it...saying the back was cracked....now when I sent that phone off it was in pristine condition...and I packed it correctly...and I sent it by special delivery.. If I declined their offer I was going to have to pay out for more postage..for it to be sent back to me.... I only have their word it was damaged...but after reading comments online after sending this phone to them...why oh why did I not do more research...I discovered that they do this a lot... I accepted their offer of £40 as I just wanted the matter dealt with and finished. I didn't want the hassle, as I have enough going on...but the fact of the matter is this...they then have the cheek to make you wait a very long time to get the money.. On 13th September I was told 7-10 days for the £ to hit my bank account, now I query again today as it has been 10 days exactly and still no £. They now change it to 7-14 WORKING days...that now means could be 4th October I get the £. To clarify...they got my phone on the 4th September...that means it will of taken them a whole month to pay me for it...and a lot less than I was actually promised... Note to oneself...do not go onto a price comparison website for phone recycling again, as I went for the biggest offer...and now look where I am...they have my phone, I still do not have my money...I should of just sold it on ebay and made loads more money for a phone that was in pristine condition...am very annoyed at this situation. Jolly well fed up with having to chase it up too, as far as I am concerned they have cheated me out of money...and then they now have the cheek to make me wait a very long time for the measly amount of money they are going to pay me. Not happy at all!!!!!!!

THEY DON'T GIVE YOU THE MONEY THEY SAY YOU ARE GOING TO GET THEN THEY MAKE UP AN EXCUSE LIKE IT HAS A SCRATCHED SCREEN WHICH MINE DID NOT. ALSO THEY WON'T RETURN MY PHONE THEY SAY IT'S ALREADY BEEN RECYCLED. ALSO I HAVEN'T EVEN RECEIVED A PENNY!! NOT HAPPY FEEL TOTALLY RIPPED OFF. REALLY WISH I HAD READ REVIEWS BEFORE I USED THEM :-(

I got a quote of £122 for my 2 year old Samsung Galaxy s2 two weeks ago. This was the best offer so I thought great lets go with that one. I was fully expecting them to get it and offer me a lower amount so I thought by going with the higher quote I would be most likely to get a good offer in the end. Anyhow 10 days ago I wrapped up my phone in padded envelopes and sent it recorded delivery. I traced it the next day and it had been signed for. My account was not updated and after a few days I started to worry so I googled Cash4phones and found all the bad reviews about them being scam merchants and how I wouldn't get my money or my phone back. Needless to say I started to worry. I needed the money or my phone back so I tried ringing them on the number I found online. The first day it was constantly on a queue so that just added to my worries. I rang at 9am the next day and got speaking to a lovely woman and she confirmed that the phone had been received and that it was being checked (this was the 5th day after I had sent it) she told me my account would be updated within the next 2 days. Later that day my account was updated saying phone had been checked and I was getting the quoted £122! I was more than pleased with this considering I knew there were a few small scratches on it! it also said my money should be with me 3 - 5 days. Well I woke up this morning and there was the money sitting in my account! I would not fault the service I received and I would definately use them again.

Sent phone off, usual story where they originally ofference £98 - reduced to £39 due to excessive wear and tear. Only at this point did I think to google the company. After reading all the reviews, I just accepted the offer hoping to cut my losses and walk away. However, I was told payment was made on the 3rd August - still no sign of my money. Contacted them numberous times on their contact us page - no response. They have recently changed it so you can only send one email via the page, if you try anymore it says 'we already have a query regarding this order that we are dealing with' or some similiar rubbish. No contact number on their page. AVOVID AT ALL COSTS. Now to try and get my money....
