place order and no goods turned up, no one answer the phone only the selling line would get answered and they would tell you to ring other number and guess what no one answers, no reply to any of my emails, glad i paid with paypal, will contact police and trading standards when i get my refund to warn others

As a lot of other reviewers here, I too have placed an order with this company and paid in full, but with no sign of the goods being delivered.
I would suggest that as well as the normal methods of trying to resolve this, (e.g. trading standards, etc), that as many people as possible report this web-site to the BBC's Watchdog program.
This can be done, online at the BBC web-site:- http://www.bbc.co.uk/watchdog and then by selecting the 'Your Story' link.
Maybe if enough of us report this, Watchdog will take some action.

Do not shop here. This company is a joke. I have paid in full around £30 for a bin and 2 weeks later not even had a e-mail to say it has been dispatched. I have e-mailed them but after 72 hours still no reply. Tried phoning but only to get to the answer phone. Now i have read these reviews i will also be seeking legal advice. Stay away!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do not order from this website. I ordereed a small chest of drawers on 14/01/11, the money was taken from my account on 18/01/11 but the goods have not yet arrived. I have tried phoning but there is no answer and the mailbox is continuously full. I have also tried e mailing but have had no response. I have now reported this to my bank and they are starting investigations into this company.

I really wish i had read the reviews before purchasing my nest of tables. We ordered on the 5th Jan 2011,we was told on the email, delivery will be within 6 wks. We are still waiting now. We have tried contacting numerous times via telephone calls, leaving voicemail messages and we have now issued warning emails stating we will take action.
This company is a joke! This site should be shut down. I will be taken further action. Would not give them any stars if i could!!

Ordered chest of drawers 2 months ago. Nothing, apart from money was taken. Have sent formal registered letter demanding cancellation of order and refund of money. The letter has not been delivered as there is noone there to receive it. Legal procedings will be taken to recover money. Their site should be closed down immediately.

I ordered a condsole table on the 29th December and to date have not received my order. Both my husband and I have both left numerous voicemail messages and sent a number of e mails all of which have been competely ignored. Having read the number of reviews today I shall be issuing a formal letter of complaint and will be contacting the Office of Fair Trading as well as legal advice.
I hope that F2H act quickly as the way they are operating is unethical and immoral as they took me money over two months ago. The website in November was updated to say that there was a delay in despacthing orders due to someone passing away, whilst that is regretable at the time of placing the order I should have been given realistic timescales and received frequent updates on my order by e mail.
I want my table.

They took my order & my money 2 months ago. No delivery. No responses to my correspondence. Credit card company advised me to send a recorded letter giving deadline for delivery or refund. I did. The deadline has passed & nothing. This company should be shut down. They don't ever answer the phone & in my opinion, based on my experience, is that they are scammers.

I really wish I would have read these reviews before placing my order. I am giving this company one star under protest. In reality they deserve none.
This company is one of the worst I have experienced. Their customer service is appalling. I placed an order for a storage chest in the end of November. The company charged my credit card soon after. In December I received an e-mail stating that my order had been shipped. According to the website, they would contact me with a delivery date. They never did. Instead, the storage chest arrived on Christmas Eve as I was in my car preparing to leave for my holiday. Moreover, the bench was damaged. I have contacted this company on numerous occasions by phone and e-mail and have received no reply. I am now pursuing the matter with my credit card company. I would advise anyone who is considering ordering from this company not to do so.

Like most of you we came across this website and thought wow what a bargain, but it was too good to be true, we ordered a large chest on the 27th Dec that never arrived, after several failed attempts we finally got a response, a woman with an foreign accent called back and said we will get our delivery on the Monday (1st week of Jan), more than 7 days passed and nothing was delivered, I again called her and she failed to reply to my emails or return my calls on her answer her phone, so another 2 weeks went by, last week I called her and I left a message telling her I will get my bank to investigate her merchant bank account as well as get trading standards to investigate her company and that as she is based in Ammansford in Wales i will be paying her a visit to get my money back, within 15 minutes she called me and explained she does not have the goods and she will not know when my goods will arrive, I asked for my money back and she said agreed.....I am still waiting and so far nothing.....

I ordered a large ottoman trunk from furniture to home on the 5th of January for around £67. The website looked good and trustworthy; everything seemed fine. After receiving goods from another website (which I had ordered the same day) I started to think that maybe furniture 2 home was not as genuine as I had first thought. It was only then that I sat down and checked out some reviews for this company and was shocked to see that everyone had been treated the same way as I had been. I also have rung and emailed the company several times and had no response.
I was sent a confirmation email to say that they had received my order, three weeks later i received another email saying that i could now track my parcel as it was now with the delivery comepany. After 5 days of waiting for the "next day delivery" of my parcel I decided to ring the delivery company only to find out that they themselves had not recived any package from furniture 2 home. So its almost a month and now iv spoken to my credit company to make a formal complaint and I will also get in touch with Trading Standards. However I have learnt that i should always check reviews before purchasing my goods online!

Do not purchase anything from Furniture2Home. Their Customer Service is awful, well it is non existent- just ring their phone line and you will understand. Got my bookcase late and when received it had black marks on it. Since Monday I have called them several times a day and left several messages as I want a refund. Still waiting - Joke!

Same boat as everyone else. Ordered a wardrobe mid October. They took payment straight away and I have heard nothing since. Unable to get hold of them by phone or e-mail, and no response to letter in post.

I ordered a sideboard, for which credit card payment was propmtly taken, on 29th Dec 2010. I received automated email confirmation. Since then, no contact from the company, despite, calling, leaving messages & emails, giving deadlines & threatening to report them to Trading Standards, which I have now done. I would not recommend using this company, they don't seem to respond to any enquiries, unless, of course, it's to take your money.

I ordered a chest of drawers in December and received a call the very next day to be told by a lady that the drawers were out of stock at the warehouse and she offered me a refund. She also advised me to check with other companies before I made an alternative order in case I had this problem again. To this day I have never received my refund and like countless others cannot get through on the telephone or by email.
I would never recommend this company, keep your money safe and use someone else. I know they say on their site that they have had a bereavement but to be honest they should have sorted themselves out by now.

Wow... looks like i'm not the only one who is waiting, if only i'd done some research and I wouldn't have EVER used this site and would have had my purchase by now. It would be nice for someone to return to the emails, return the calls or even just ANSWER them. I am reporting this company for BAD BUSINESS.... STAY WELL CLEAR AND KEEP YOUR MONEY SAFE....

just like eveyone else, we are still waiting for our order. we ordered a dining set on the 17th of december 2010 and they took the money on te 18th. we waited until after christmas and new year as we never expected delivery before then and we were still decorating anyway. now i have sent several e-mails asking for an update on delivey and tried leaving messages on their answering machine but still no word. if i had looked at some of the reviews on here before i placed my order, i wouldn't have used this company. they are a joke! now we have got to try and get our money back somehow....

I purchased a 3 drawer 2 door Vancouver Petite Oak Wine Rack on 26th November 2010 for £339.99 from furniture2home.co.uk. this item was paid for in full by visa debit card, I have still not received the item not only that. These people clearly should not be running a business as they do not answer calls but say leave a message which you cannot, they will not reply to emails. this is the worst business i have ever seen. listen to their shabby message on their answer machine terrible accent you can hardly understand. My next step is legal action on these criminals. they use also the name Furniture4home.co.uk Their telephone number is:01269824566 ring it and see!!!
