I contacted Sarah and paid my £50 deposit. When it came to trying to make an appointment to have a trial done I was unable to make contact with Sarah despite emailing and telephoning her. As it was only 6 weeks to my daughters wedding I cut my loses and cancelled her for the sake of my sanity. I wonder if she just takes bookings and deposits and then doesnt get back to people therefore making an easy £50. Probably some law that say false advertising or fraud!!!!!! (read more)

I booked Sarah to do my hair and makeup for me, 3 bridesmaids and my mum. There were a lot of people in the room but Sarah remained calm and professional at all times! she even helped defuse the stress levels by keeping everyone happy and helping wherever she could. We all looked amazing and the photos were fantastic. I would definately recommend her to anyone! it was the best decision I made to have someone come to the hotel instead of going to a salon. I found Sarah to be very professional and did a fantastic job on the day! I dont know what these other reviews are about???

She made me feel like a princess and was very calm and managed to organise everyones hair and makeup around the hetic room and people getting ready. She even helped to do my stockings up as we all had acrylic tips on!!!!

I would definately recommend Sarah to ANYONE!! it is great to have someone come to the hotel to get ready.

We had a wonderfull day! I was not used to wearing makeup at all and Sarah really got the look I wanted right. I did not feel made up at all but looked amazing and the photos were fantastic.

For anybody who is not used to wearing a lot of makeup but wants to for their big day call Sarah.

I found Sarahs service to be fantastic! she was very professional! she really took her time at the trial to make sure I was totally happy with my look. On the day she was on time and made everyone feel very relaxed and taken care of. It was so great having someone come to me for the day. I would definately recommend her! her rates are very reasonable compared to others as well. (read more)

As with the other review on here, Sarah did not turn up for my hair and makeup trial although she did rearrange this.

Although I was pleased with what she did, she was very difficult to get hold of and tried to push my time back at the last minute to fit in another bride which would not have given me enough time to get ready.

She does not have any idea how to run a business and added extra stress to my planning, which is not what a bride needs. I only used her because it was too late to... (read more)

All looked good on the website and she was keen to get a contract and deposit to secure the date.

Booked Sarah Barlex for my wedding make up and hair but she didn't turn up for the trial. We were sat waiting all afternoon and couldn't get hold of her at all. She didn't even bother to call in person the next day to explain and didn't contact at all to rearrange despite saying in an email that she would.
