a nightmare. our fitter and electrician have been great,however optiplans fitting department and "project manager" have been next to useless. our tiler decided he wanted to abandon the job as the walls had to be skimmed,upon multiple tilers stating they were fine,in addition to optiplans tiler changing his quote 4 times,installations basicly has left us with a completely untiled kitchen with debris already ruining our brand new worktop,this is upsetting and we are left with a half building... We saw Pam at Optiplan in Reading and felt immediately comfortable and in safe hands. The whole process was slick, stress free and we have now got an amazing kitchen and a lovely utility room too. Optiplan Camberley recently orchestrated an overhaul on our kitchen. The end product exceeded our expectations and we were very impressed with the various "trade personnel" associated with the work. All tradesmen were on time, cleared up after each operation and worked on occaision long hours. Although the price was a little high, (our own choice) we ended up feeling we had good value for money. Having checked with three local suppliers (one of whom had done an excellent job in refitting our bathrooms) we were in no doubt that Optiplan seemed by far the best option. Just thought I would put my point of view to this from another angle. We are now about five years since we had our kitchen fitted and yes, I still love the kitchen but the quality is not good. We did have to have several of the door fronts replaced early on - about a year after having the kitchen initially installed as they were peeling away. Timetable of fitting was disappointing as fitter left twice in a week to fit other kitchens, meaning that my kitchen fitting took much longer than anticipated and it left me with no water etc for 2 weeks. I am very happy with the design of my new Optiplan kitchen. All my friends can't believe how much space and light that have been created. I like the bigger radiator which makes it a much warmer place to be, as I tend to work in there in the evening as well as using it for food preparation.
