Placed my order and 2.5 weeks later received it. I calculated the exchange rate. Paid less than $10 per box, $6 cheaper than Walmart vision. That's with shipping calculated per box. Bottom line, if you can wait, then save the money. Did I mention, no prescription? Would have been 5star, but timeframe cost them a star. (read more)

I've been using Lensplanet.com for nearly 2yrs now. Mostly the delivery is quick but on some occasion the delivery take long time this is the only complain I have got, any ways the order has reached to me all the time I have ordered and the lenses are always well packed. Ordered from US. Ordered February 17, after business hours. Billed within 24 hours. Website did not show as shipped until March 4. Received on March 6. They only replied to one of my four inquiries. The order received was correct and in good condition. They do not ask for your doctor's contact info and do not confirm prescriptions. I have ordered from Lensplantet 3 times. First time went smoothly. Got my contacts on time so I decide to try them again. Second time wasn't so great. They only sent me half of what I ordered. I contacted them and received an email the next day. They apologies and said the rest would be sent soon. “Hands down the worst company I have ever dealt with.”

I ordered a package of contacts in the middle of December, and it didn't arrive for over a month after. I emailed them because I couldn't find what I ordered under my account information, and they said it would be sent out in 3-5 days. That's what they always told me 3-5 days. They never bothered to tell me that they were apparently having vendor problems, until it was being shipped out. That was a month after the fact. I live in FL. Heard about this company thru a friend, he ordered some lenses and got them. I ordered Toric lenses. And later read some bad reviews, that got me concerned. Well it didnt even take 2 weeks for me to get my order of Toric lenses, that aren't even readily available. Received my order 10 business days after I placed it. Packaging was USPS box with padding. So take a good look at the previous reviews. The first thing you'll notice is that all the recent reviews are all 5 stars and there's a surprising regularity to them. There's one 5 star review almost every weekday but never on the weekend. There's very few times that there's more than one review in a day and when that does happen, one of them seems to be a non-5-star review that's probably legitimate. “Horrible service never received full order”

My husband and I each ordered 2 boxes of contacts on October 12th 2012, The order did not ship until the 25th of October nearly 2 weeks to the day later. The shipment arrived on November 1, 2012 only containing 2 boxes of contacts. I have contacted customer service several times with no response. (Since the 18th) I have no idea what to do to get a refund or replacement for my missing order but am so unsatisfied, will never use this company again, do not trust them. (read more)

This is my third order from lensplanet all have arrived promptly & in perfect condition. The re-ordering system only takes a couple of minutes. Ordering on line has the advantage that during months when I don’t wear my lenses so often, I am not paying for something I'm not using or accumulating a pile of unused lenses. I switched to lensplanet because I can order lenses as and when I need them, which suits me because some days I don't wear lenses. Boots Opticians, who were good in many ways, were unable to offer me a flexible service of this sort. lensplanet is working out much cheaper for me. And so far my orders have arrived very quickly. My contact lenses will get delivered to me within 3 days, but on some occasion 1 or 2 of my orders got delayed for couple of days, no matter what my lenses will always get delivered to me safe and well packed. After years of paying monthly fees to a high street optician for daily contact lenses, with all the contract clauses that come with them. Now I can have monthly lenses delivered to my door from lensplanet.com, at the amazing price, savings and no contracts. I have used lensplanet for the past year. My lenses were cheaper compared with my previous supplier. The service is quick. One thing I particularly like is ease of placing an order being able to access the information and repeat the same order. My orders are processed quickly and I have never had any reason to complain. As a prime customer, which I only became after lensplanet had proved how excellent they are; I have always found lensplanet to fulfill all their promises. I have only had to return one pair of contact lenses and that was corrected quickly and simply. Their delivery is bang on time always as they promise. Vision coverage is not included in my medical plan so I did some research online and discovered that you could order contacts without a prescription from the UK. I stumbled upon Lensplanet.com and decided to take a gamble. I read other negative reviews that said they had no communication or customer service to speak of and were very hard to reach. Order took over 4 weeks to arrive (uk). No communication until I chased them - then they told me that it could take 4 weeks for them to order the lenses. I'd needed them in a hurry. There was no indication on their site that this was the case. Very poor service. My advice is to avoid. (read more)

Recieved my contacts after 6 weeks...but needed to return unopened package as they were wrong. I got an e-mail with the return address, stating when they recieved the contacts, I'd get the refund. So I returned them in early January.(I was planning to re-order the proper lenses). It is now March 6th and still no credit. Report them to Trading Standards and issue a claim in the small claims Court for return of your funds (can issue the claim online for a small fee). I would also issue a formal complaint to their hrad office. This kind of service is simply not acceptable and must be challenged. Don't let them get away with it - this is simply corporate theft!

I ordered contact lenses from Lensplanet.com on September 28th. The order was never delivered to my house. I was in touch with a customer service representative (Jane) who requested my patience. I obliged and waited until November 14th before requesting a refund for my purchase. I'm patient when it comes to delivering a product, but, when a company fails to deliver I insist my money be returned promptly. I don't understand the negative reviews. This is my second time purchasing from Lens Planet. Last May, the first time, I inadvertently ordered twice. They were very responsive about reversing the second charge. I ordered two boxes and the lenses took awhile to arrive, but I live in Washington State in the US. i ordered contacts a while ago and JUST got them delivered...for the right eye only. i paid for 12 sets of contacts and got 6....and the writing on it is all in Japanese. i'm not sure if they'll send the other half. at this point i do not care. they do not email back quickly. it's not like it takes a few days for an email to be delivered all the way from the USA to England...but apparently it takes 2 months to deliver a tiny parcel of 6 contacts. never again. i hate this company so much that... I got an email on March 15th, saying my order had been processed and to expect to recieve my package in 4-6 business days. Ordered 3 months supply of my dailies moist lenses at £94.50
Website states that product is in stock, but they took about 5 days for delivery. Got my lenses so no complaints.. delivery could be quicker, as stated on the website. But prices are quite less than my optician so buying from Lens planet is certainly beneficial.
Good service, would certainly recommend them. They should give next day delivery as an option.

Placed my first order with them on 4th of last month after evaluating various online retailers recommended by Moneysavingexpert, which is a great website to find best deals on any product / service.
Got the best deal for acuvue moist lenses at £94.50 for 3 months supply so went ahead with my purchase. Received my product on 5th day of order placement, quite reasonable.
Overall I would definitely recommend using Lensplanet to buy your lenses rather than wasting money on the high street...

Second time I have ordered and have no issues. Product was as advertised. For some reason it took a bit longer first time than expected. But, overall it made it to me in good shape. No serious complaints.
Would certainly recommend them for the prices they offer and the overall service.

Hi, this is so true as contactforlenses.com and lens planet are the SAME company! I ordered lenses from LENS PLANET and payment was taken from my account by BETTEREYESITE.COM - when you put this website into google it transfers you to www.contactforlenses.com. i ordered my lenses a month ago - no lenses have arrived, all my emails have been ignored, and I am now trying to get a refund. If you google lens planet there are so many complaints online calling this company a scam.

The same thing happened to me and when you try to contact them you get this generic answering machine. my order was almost 200 dollars and it was deducted from my account it's been almost 2 weeks and I've heard nothing.
