    Good Points: Price, Location, Service

Bad Points: none apart from rooms possibly bit on small side?

General comments: I have stayed at Don Bigote Hotel twice, once with a large group of male and female friends, and another time with a smaller group of girls! Both times were excellent, and I have to say I'm baffled by the negative reviews I've read as its nothing like the experience I ' ve had both times I stayed! This hotel does what it says on the tin! Its location is fantastic, and the rooms are clean, well serviced and for what you pay its brilliant, maybe a bit on the small side, but perfectly fine for the normal amount of time you actually spend in the room!! The price is certainly the lowest I've paid for a beach resort half board hotel!! We only really went back to the room to lie down out of the sun the odd afternoon, and to get ready before we headed out at night!!? The food was good, but by the end of the holiday we did eat out a couple of times for a change, but if you are on a budget and would rather spend money on doing stuff on holiday rather than the hotel itself this is great! The pool/poolside was nice and more than ample size, plus the staff were friendly day and night. There is a nice atmosphere, and we met lots of regular guests, which is generally a good sign!! Staff were all friendly, especially the pool bars guys!! ;-) I've had an awesome holiday every time I've gone to Palma Nova and stayed at Don Bigote and its excellent value for money!!

I and Went with My Parent and The Young Scot's were very entertaining at this hotel. Food was excellent and had many different things to choose from, Room was always clean and staff was very friendly. The beach was lovely and about a 2 minute walk from the hotel. And we will most definitely go back to Hotel Don Bigote.

I stayed at Don Bigote Hotel for 5 nights with two friends. The hotel was perfect. the rooms were clean, the food was great, great selection every night something to suit everybody. the staff were realy lovely. we arrived early and got our room before the stated 2pm. on our last day we asked if we could keep on one of our rooms as we were not leaving untill 9pm that evening, they let us have it for a small charge. overall we had a excellent holiday and infact we are booking same for next year!

We did wonder what we were getting as the hotel was classed as for 18-30s. Can only say it was clean, tidy and we had no problems with noise from people at the hotel, it would have been quieter to have a pool view room, we would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family. Our 19 year old daughter wants to go back later this year.

Loved Magaluf and Palma, well the whole holiday really and would definitely go back but I would stay in the hotel Fiesta Jungla in central Magaluf, as everyone out there said it was amazing.

Overall ,this hotel exceeded my expectations and I'd definitely recommend it to a friend!
I was originally looking for somewhere in Magaluff itself, but this hotel was only a 3 euro taxi ride away which took about 4 minutes, or you could walk from the hotel to Magaluff in about 15 minutes.
Also, theres a cafe around the corner called Maria's and they serve the best egg and bacon rolls ever!! Wow, I'm dribbling at the thought right now!! Infact their whole menu is pretty impressive and cheap ...

All in all, the hotel was in a good location, it was lively and fun but it would not be suitable for older couples or children. The hotel was very clean and tidy, near the beach, shops and pubs.

We found the hotel in a great location and only a stones throw away from the beach and shops, bars etc. The rooms were small and basic but very clean with maid service and clean towels daily and beds made. The waiting staff were very efficient and friendly. If your looking for cheap and cheerful this is your place to go.

Don Bigote is a good place for young people and older people, not recommended in the height of season though. It is in a really good location near the bars like Banana Joe's and the beach, only a 10-15 minute walk into Magaluf, I'll definitely be coming back in the very near future.

Wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone to be honest, if you want a small room then its fine but otherwise, we payed good money for a terrible place to stay. I'd recommend the Magamar in Magaluf.

Myself and my girlfriend booked this holiday a week before we travelled. It was my first time abroad by flying, and I didn't know what to expect, but I can recommend this as a true friendly hotel. The room was a little on the small side, but everything else was spot on. Superb location, just 10 minutes walk, or a 5 minute bus journey to Magaluf, but on Palma Nova's Doorstep for the easy shopping and eating and drinking facilities. Hotel entertainment was a little on the cheesy side, but a good ...

I have just come back from the Don Bigote Hotel in Palma Nova. I went with one other friend. We were a bit scared, as we booked over the internet and didn't really know what to expect, but I can say I was pleasantly surprised. It's in an ideal location, as it's not that far from Magaluf. I would say it's in the perfect location actually, as it's out of the way of the noise of Magaluf, but not too far for you to walk into. Palma Nova itself is very quiet. It's centralised more around families and ...

My boyfriend visited the hotel in July with a mate for 4 days and then recommend the hotel for us to go to in August for our holiday. I was a little worried after reading all the bad comments about the hotel but to be honest I couldn't fault the hotel and would definitely go back. It was as clean as any other hotel I have visited in the past. Palma Nova beach is lovely and is only about a 2 min walk from the hotel. I also found the hotel pool area clean.
I did not find the hotel too noisy in t ...

The hotel was really good for groups of friends, and staff were pleasant and helpful. It was in a perfect location for the beach, shops and restaurants, and also for walking to Magaluf at night.

The rooms are quite small, and probably would be too small for a family. The pool area can get pretty busy for the amount of people in the hotel, and the food at dinner time was never labelled, so we never knew what we were eating!

It was really good, and I would recommend the Don Bigote Hotel in P ...

I was really pleased with the hotel as it is very nice. We went in peak season and the hotel had a lot of shows on. Also its about 10mins walk to the strip or there is a range of night clubs just around the corner of the hotel. The hotel has 2 computers which had the internet. The only fault was the lifts. One stopped on the 5th floor and we got stuck in the lift for about 10mins we pressed the bell but no one came and we had to wedge the door open. Luckily we were on a floor - well, just. I wou ...

Families please stay clear but if you're a young group of lads or girls then this hotel would suit you.

Personally we would never recommed this hotel and will never use it again.

Palma Nova, is pretty quiet and there are quite a lot of families. Beach was always clean but watch out for the sand pests trying to sell you fruit. Don't buy anything off them because they will more than likely rob you blind. Not far from Magaluf. There is a little bar just on the corner near the hotel. This is a good place to start if you're heading up to Magaluf strip. There is a Chinese on the beach front as well, heading up towards Magaluf. Not very expensive but is the best Chinese I h ...

We all had a great time at the Done Bigote Hotel in Palma Nova, and we're planning to go back next year. It is definitely a hotel for young holiday makers and not a hotel for families. We all felt safe in the hotel, and the rooms had safes that you can get the key for at reception for €26, but you get some of that back when you return the key. And you don't have to check out of your room until 12, so you can make the most of your last night.

The rooms at the Don Bigote Hotel in Palma Nova are OK, and they are very clean. The cleaners are fantastic and friendly. Unfortunately the food was awful! We paid for half board and had to eat out as they don't cater for children. There was a fire in the hotel in the early hours of the morning, and there were no fire alarms working. We were scared, as I had an ill man and a 3 year old. Staff were nowhere to be seen. I am glad to be home, as the place is very noisy, and pr9ices at the bar were v ...
