“Best riding school in the world!”

Darlington stables rocks! My teacher recommended it to me nearly 2 years ago and I haven't missed a lesson since. The instructor is brilliant and the horses,Ginger in particular!,are really patient . The half days and full days are amazing . An extremely good value for money. When I began I had no ideia how to ride but now the instructor has told me everything I know. (read more)

this is the best riding school i have ever been to! I have been here for 6 and a half years and my riding has improved so much. the horses are well cared for, they get groomed at least twice a day. they always have food, water and a nice thick bed that they can lie on. i have now got my own pony and i still have lessons there because without the lessons i will never improve. the riding instructor is extreemley nice and she always repays me for my help with free rides on those EXCELENT (over... TAKE NO NOTICE of the other review! I am one of those small girls and the instructor owns the place not just employed as staff. She is incredibly friendly and should be well respected for what she does. She has brought me on incredily and i jumped 3ft 6 on one of those overworked, tired and fed up ponies. She repays me for my help with free rides.The ponies have every rug a horse needs and the ponies always have a thick bed to lie on and food. You always get value for money from 10 pounds... I found the stables to be very disorganised, and it was mainly being run by small children about 10 years old. The lessons were over booked and my daughter was placed on a beginners lesson with 12 other children, and there was only 3 small girls leading the ponies. The horses were over worked and looked fed up, lazy and grumpy. The instructor was kind but didnt teach, and most of the time my daughter was just walking round the middle whilst they tried to make the pony trot. The lesson was... (read more)
