Can't praise Faraway Furniture (Hertfordshire) enough. They are the John Lewis of Garden Furniture. Its very difficult to find Genuine Grade A Teak furniture, you know you are getting the best quality from Faraway, and not a cheap inferior teak like other websites. I would 100% recommend Faraway Furniture! I am new to buying furniture and Naomi made it very easy for me when ordering my dining room chairs. She answered all questions I had promptly and in detail. Aside from the customer service being top notch the furniture is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!! The quality is very high and the images on the site were a great reflection of the items. Very happy with our wooden dining set we bought, the service was nothing but excellent, the set is solid, well made and a good price. The wood used is reclaimed so am pleased that a furniture company is trying to be environmentally aware. Delivered and assembled without a hitch and would buy from them again. (read more)

This company was recommended by a neighbour and we could not be better pleased. Me and my wife went to the showroom to try out all the teak chairs and was impressed by the knowledge of the staff. We ended up buying a a Riviera teak set. We were initially worried it was too big but was reassured by staff who entered our patio dimensions onto a planner so we could view our set in the patio. We didn't know that Battlers Green Farm existed and came across this amazing shop. Fabulous selction of really unusual gifts, handcarved bowls and glass. We fell in love with a chunky dining set for our new house. The service was superb and the set was delivered free of charge although it needed 3 men to get into our house. The staff really know what they talking about and have a passion for what they are selling. I would highly recommend to anyone. (read more)

Everywhere i go i now see shops trying to copy Faraway's success and products but they only manage to bring in tat. The quality of Faraway Furniture's products is amazing and the price is not bad at all. There is a place in Brent cross selling some teak bowls like they do at Faraway Furniture but Faraway's are much better finished and have more substantial feel to them and cost the same. Went to visit Faraway Furniture at their shop at Battlers Green Farm. A really lovely shop with lots of interesting wooden crafts, garden furniture and indoor aswell. The indoor reclaimed teak dining set really caught my eye but I ended up buying a teak garden set for the Easter hols as this is what we really needed. It was set up on my patio within three days free of charge. Superb quality and splendid service. (read more)

This company was recommended to me by a friend who bought a garden set from Faraway two years ago. I Bought the Riviera set made of teak and stainless steel and was very impressed with the quality. The set was assembled by the company in my garden free of charge in under 45 minutes, delivery was within 48 hours, free and on a Saturday morning as I work during the week. Cannot fault the customer service, advice and beautiful furniture. (read more)

Our table and chairs were delivered and installed a week after we ordered them (as arranged) on a sunny Saturday morning in South London. They assembled everything on the patio and 4 hours later 6 of us were sat in comfort enjoying a fine afternoon and my not so fine BBQ cooking.

We purchased the Hawaiian table with Sorrento chairs. The product is fantastic - great quality and good looking - and the accessories (parasols, cushions) are chosen to compliment. Customer service was excellent from start to finish - opening the warehouse on a Sunday to allow us to view, providing helpful advice on most appropriate furniture, delivery on time, product assembled and packaging removed. Absolute joy to deal with this company. We have previously bought a teak garden set for half the price but we should have read about it before committing. It turned out the company was selling what now I know to be Grade C teak which had some sort of chemical treatment on it. This caused my pregnant wife some blisters on her hand after the first time we used it. When the set started to warp and fall apart, it was the last straw and we then started a long battle to get our money back.... (read more)
