After being sent the wrong quantity of bearings (short by half), after inspection showed they were all pitted!! What is going on here? Sold as weldtites but clearly not. Replacements were promised but are still AWOL long after delivery was promised. The axel for a shimano hub arrived also arrived damaged with the cone cover bashed and off centre. The person on the phone answers like some disgruntled teenager and couldn't care that I'm now stuck without parts and missing a weekend away group... (read more)

Ordered from JE James as the item was a few quid cheaper than normal preferred suppliers Wiggle, Evans & Chain Reactions. Their customer communications are really poor. You have no idea whether your item has been dispatched. Furthermore, The shipping times is way too long. I called today, and told my item has not been shipped. I ordered a bicycle pannier from them, it was over half the price than offered at other online shops eg bobbins bikes, which was obviously bloody fantastic alone. It also arrived very quickly by courier which alerted me to delivery times by text, and delivery was free. They have a pretty wide range of other bike bits like bags and lights etc so I will definitely be checking their website before ordering anything from my usual wiggle.com (no disrespect to wiggle) in the future Highly recommended (read more)

I was recommended JeJames by a friend who had used in the past. After researching all the usual bike companies I found that the bike I wanted was £50 cheaper. Coupled with the fact they offer free delivery, which for me arrived the next day using DPD, was a brilliant experience seeing as I has never used them before. I must challenge this comment. Our customer services never hang up on a customer and always give our customers the cheapest option for their order (hence the advice to order to receive Freepost). I think you have misinterpreted the intention of advice for your benefit as a negative attitude.
