Is Furniture 247 a reliable company? I have placed an order was told it would be delivered to day phoned them was then told it would be Monday.

I don't want to worry you, as I have read good reviews about them elsewhere, but last year I had to take them to court over non-delivery of some bedroom furniture. They settled out of court in the end and paid me everything I asked for, but I had to wait 8 months for this. At least they are communicating with you, which is a good sign.

I feel sick at the thought of having just ordering from this company. I have just come across all the negative reviews and am wondering did anybody ever get their money back? If not why is this company still allowed to trade? I anticipate a long wait and a battle ahead as I have only been phoning for 2 days to find out what has happened to the waterproof mattress that I ordered. I keep getting fobbed off and now I understand why having come across these bad reviews about furniture 24/7!

I feel your pain! I spent days weeks and months trying to get my money back for a bed that arrived faulty. The most terrible customer service I have ever experienced (and I do a lot of shopping). Finally got my money back thru my credit card company. If you paid by card or PayPal, I would suggest you contact them. You really will be wasting time & energy otherwise This company should not be allowed to trade (in my opinion) with such bad service. Wishing you luck. Clearly this is based on my one and final transaction with them.

Take them through the small claims court. It cost me £60.00, and is very easy to do. They will settle out of court (though you have to wait), get all your costs back and the money you spent. It worked for me in May of this year. Go for it!
