“Don’t do this to yourself….”

You may be tempted to use these clowns, but trust me don’t. I had to leave one star just to insert this review - and believe me that hurts. I ordered a king size bed – and wish I hadn’t. We.. sent a letter to cancel the order via recorded delivery. Write this above the "Dear Sir/Madam" : "To whom it may concern, the distance selling regulations 2000". Photocopy it and keep a copy. Companies have upto 30 days to refund you from the date on the letter. After 30 days we asked our bank for a visa chargeback. If they refuse to help, contact the financial ombudsman who will order the bank to help you. The bank may ask to see the cancellation letter (copy). Some on here have applied for a chargeback immediately and succeeded but I would still do the cancellation letter. In our case furn247 denied recieving the letter even though we had proof - for they had to sign for it as it was sent by recorded mail (and we could see the signature via the online tracking! !!). I hope you get your money back soon. Be polite but forceful with your bank. They are reluctant to help. Call the ombudsman if they refuse to help. Good luck.

Trading standards are useless I wouldn't bother. Focus on getting your money back instead. If you paid by visa debit you can ask your bank for a "chargeback". If they refuse to help contact the "financial ombudsman" and they will write to your bank demanding they help you. It takes several weeks for the bank to refund you. If the bank drags it's heels again, go back to the ombudsman.You have to push hard and perservere until the bank caves in and refunds you. I would also cancel your card incase furn247 attempt to take more cash out. Your bank can still issue the refund on the new card. Good luck.

Do not buy from this company. Next day delivery, don't believe a word of it. Money refund within 28 days, don't believe a word of it. You phone them, it goes to voice mail. I ordered a cabin bed for my son and a delivery date was agreed. They were extremely pleasant at this point! The delivery date came and the bed was not delivered. Sorry to hear you have been affected by this Fools And Horses outfit I was also affected a couple of years back by these pathetic people but don't give up if you have paid by credit card contact your card company and get them involved I got a full refund from my card company It took about 6 weeks but still got my £299 back I totally agree with you on how can they still be trading, it seems they buy fire and water damaged stock As I said don't give up hope it works out for you.

Thanks.. yes we are going down the credit card route as apparently if they are to give us a refund they want 40 for postage and an admin fee of 4% ...

so basically they deliver dodgy goods (And i mean dodgy, i wouldnt let a dog sleep on this bed, let alone a child)
and then charge extra for the legal duty they are ignoring..

Not to mention if we did pay this money then there is no guarentee we would even get a refund ...

“worst company ever! do not buy!”

Paid for a set of table and chairs it came with a crack in the corner. Asked for another and they sent a table the an even bigger crack in the middle of the table and no legs what a joke! Wouldn't take it back inless i paid for it. Has been a on going case with trading standards for 6 months I was emailing and no reply. I was successful only after sending them threatening court action letters and quoting trading standards and all the legal acts that are on your side. It does work but check consumer rights web site for all the necessary info
