A great walkers' pub, perhaps, being right in the middle of Windsor Great Park, but very disappointing on the food front. A starter of mushrooms in a stilton and brandy sauce tasted neither of stilton, nor brandy. When we complained we were told that other customers had said it was too strong! Why not call it mushrooms in cream sauce, then? The skin of my slow roasted pork belly was soggy, not crisp, so I sent it back, only for it to return solid and equally unedible! It was served with...
