I had this done at my regular salon when my hairdresser was unable to source Kebelo which is a product I have used on 3 occasions in the past two years. On the day of treatment the process was much like Kebelo except I was told not to ponytail or wash my hair for 3 days. I left it for 4 just to be safe. One week later and there is no evidence of La Brasilia having any effect whatsoever. My wavy slightly frizz prone hair remains completely unchanged. I have revisited my salon and the… Read Full Review

Bought this to do on my daughter as a treat. I'm a hairdressing tutor and done this as a demo for my students. Initially the blow dry looked ok no better than I can blow dry it any other time and it did stay smooth for 48 hours but once washed it went right back to normal. Oh and I did follow instructions thoroughly! I do have to feed back to my class on how it lasts. Load of rubbish and one very in happy daughter… Read Full Review

Had the La Braziliana treatment on Saturday last week. Immediately after the treatment my hair felt great, but by evening it was tangling at the edges and the fringe was frizzing - by Sunday lunchtime I had a halo of frizz... This was my 6th or 7th "Brazilian" in 5 years: all either Brazilian Blowout or Cacau : both of which worked fabulously: totally frizz-free for months. I have naturally strong, slightly dry, slightly frizzy hair - but the La Braziliana has left my hair dryer: it feels… Read Full Review

La Brasiliana is supposed to give you straight, smooth , shinny frizz free hair that lasts for 2 to 3 months. My daughter is a hairdresser and tired of me moaning about my wavy and fizzy hair she bought La Brasiliana for me. In a previous salon she had worked in she had used Brasilian Cacau which she raved about but La-Brasiliana is a lot cheaper and easier to get hold of. She applied the treatment after watching the DVD and reading the instructions thoroughly. We followed the instructions to… Read Full Review

Ive had it done and it made my hair dry , turned my beige blond highlights bright yellow which I could not get out at all , I also had breakage on the top and my hairdresser is an expert on these plus my hair after two washes went back to wavy and its not even curly to begin with. My hair is falling out too . Thank God I have thick hair. I will never use this product again after using coppola which was great for blonds , this product just doesn't measure up. My hair feels worse than before ugh… Read Full Review

This treatment is an absolute sham. I have very frizzy hair and it did nothing to alleviate it. The hairdressers I went to insisted that it would make my hair easier to style and more 'conditioned'. This could have been achieved using a good quality hair mask or deep conditioning treatment for less than a quarter of the price. Avoid La Brasiliana like the plague… Read Full Review

I purchased 3 products from http://la-brasilianasa.com/, and paid a total of US$106, which I cinsidered quite a lot for just shampoo and conditioner. However, since I had a hair treatment done, I wanted to things right and ensure the best possible results. I ordered the goods from Canada, and I was not warned that the products were coming from another country, nor that I was going to have to pay duties/other charges. I was absolutely shocked when UPS delivered my products and charged me an… Read Full Review

I had the Braziliana treatment done at a salon in Woking under the Groupon offer. I paid £40 for it when usually it is £99 at that salon. I straighten my hair every day which is normally slightly wavy and fizzy when left naturally. My hair is long and the process took roughly 2 hours. I dont know if it is formaldehyde free the one used on me, but the stylist didnt use gloves or a mask. He wasnt the gentlist of stylist neither - he didnt seem to know how not to tug long hair and didnt… Read Full Review

I had the Brasiliana treatment done via a Groupon offer. Having very thick and frizzy hair, I thought this would be perfect for me. Even when the stylist was straightening the hair, it was catching on the straighteners and bits of my hair were being pulled out. I mentioned it to the stylist but she didn't do anything. The end result was ok...not the sleek and straight look I thought I would have and by tea time I had to get the straighteners back on it as the frizz was building up. I have had… Read Full Review

I thought the La Brasilliana was more gentle then other brands and that is why I chose it. After I waited the 4 days to wash my hair, my hair felt extremely flat, with no body. I also feel I have experienced some hair loss as result of tis treatment. My hair is naturally a fine texture and I thought this treatment was good for my hair texture. I also found out the one that was used on me was formahdahyde free.
I would definitely not reccomend the La Brasilliana. And I wish someone had… Read Full Review

My hair was great until I washed it and then it went back to being exactly the same as it was before the treatment, perhaps even drier than before. I used the correct shampoo and conditioner and did not wash it for 4 days as instructed. A complete rip off that does not work… Read Full Review

I had the La Brasilian treatment done at a salon in Maryhill, Glasgow. My hair was poker straight for 4 days as I was instructed not to get it wet, but once washed (witht the appropriate follow-up products) my hair was a disaster. The curl was reduced somewhat in some places but not in othgers and the frizz was worse than ever. Beware this potentially expensive mistake. The salon offered to re-do it but I refused due to the risk of making things even worse… Read Full Review

For frizzy hair this is a must. I've spent hours trying to tame my unruly hair over the years. I had the treatment at RED HARE near Kidderminster, Worcs. Prices start from £120 not cheap but so worth it!!!.
It's a kerosene/collagen treatment which is applied which you must leave in for 4 days minimum. It can't get wet in that time so no washing. After that it's just wash and go but you must use the sodium free shampoo and conditioner. Lasts around 3-4 months.
My recommendation is go to a… Read Full Review
